I'm not from Penang as most of my readers have known but from my own knowledge, Penang is a state up north in Malaysia and the name its constituent island, located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia by the Strait of Malacca. It is the second smallest Malaysian state in area after Perlis. The state is one of the most developed and economically important in the country. A resident of Penang is colloquially known as a Penangite. I have known many acquaintances who were born and stayed in Penang and from what they had input me, the place is definitely a very good place to stay and   a must visit tourist destination.

Apart from that, Penang is the third-largest economy amongst the states of Malaysia, after Selangor and Johor. Manufacturing is the most important component of the Penang economy. The southern part of the island is highly industrialized with high-tech electronics plants such as Dell, Intel, AMD, Altera, Motorola, Seagate and so on located within the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone, earning Penang the nickname Silicon Island. In January 2005, Penang was formally accorded the Multimedia Super Corridor Cyber City status, the first outside of Cyberjaya, with the aim of becoming a high-technology industrial park that conducts cutting-edge research.

So many good facts about Penang so I guess, the state is really a very good place to stay or to do some property investment especially on the condominium.
