Earthquake in Malaysia?

To those who are in Peninsular Malaysia, did u feel the earthquake this morning around 8am and also 11am? I read from Twitter, Plurk and also FaceBook that some of my friends experienced the vibration at their office, condo and any other building that they are in.

What's really happening? Is it a sign of the end of the world as predicted for some who believes that the coming of 2012 is the end of the time for every earthlings?

KUALA LUMPUR: Two earthquakes hit northern Sumatra Tuesday morning sending tremors that were felt in Selangor, Malacca, Negri Sembilan, Perak, Putrajaya and here.

The first 5.5-magnitude earthquake hit Sumatra at 8.08am and the second 5.6-magnitude quake hit the same place at 11.01am Tuesday. Calls came pouring in from Selayang Hospital, KLCC building and other highrises in the Klang Valley as many residents ran out of their buildings

However, there was no tsunami threat, said the Malaysian Meteorological Department.
