Ochado Buy 1 Free 1 @ SS2

Good news for those who are working or residing in SS2 Petaling Jaya, Ochado has recently open up a branch in this particular area and the best thing is that now they are having a BUY 1 FREE 1 promotion from 23rd until 29th May 2012. Basically today is the last day and I am truly sorry for the late post due some of the outstanding blog post.

So for those who are passing by this SS2 area, you can always drop by from 3pm until 6pm for their BUY 1 FREE 1 promotion. You can order anything from their menu and you can only choose 1 out of 3 types of selected drinks. The selected drinks are the Ochado Roasted Milk Tea with Pearl, Ochado Milk Tea with Pearls and Peachy Oolong Tea with Ice Jelly.



So far, Ochado is the only bubble milk tea franchise that offer the homemade Japanese Mille Crepe for those who wanted to have something to bite on together with their drinks in Ochado.



They have quite a good range for their beverages and some of the toppings were quite similar to the rest. They offer Premium Milk Tea, Original Ice Tea, Iced Lemonade, Ice Blend, Fusion Iced Tea and QQ Tea. You can choose your preferable sugar level from 0-100% and their recommended sugar level is 75%.



Some of their homemade Japanese Mille Crepe selections displayed in Ochado price ranging from RM9.90 to RM11.90. I did not order their mille crepe even on my second visit but the next time when I drop by again, I'll make sure that I try them :)

Just like the other bubble milk tea franchise, Ochado also provides the customer a Loyalty Card. Every 10 stamps completed will get a free drink from them.

We ordered the Ochado Roasted Milk Tea (RM5.90) with Pearl and 3Q Passionate Tea with Jelly (RM6.90). Since it was BUY 1 FREE 1 promotion, we only paid RM6.90 for both.

My verdict, I like their Roasted Milk Tea a lot and it was way better if to compare it with the one from Chatime. The taste of their tea was more concentrated and it gives a decent strong tea after taste fragrance in every sip. Their pearls are chewy but less smooth compared to those good ones which I had tried from other bubble milk tea franchise. The Oolong Tea was refreshing and I enjoy slurping in the ice jelly pretty much and significantly I can feel my body temperature lowered down.

The dim lighting makes the whole place looks comfortable and cozy, pretty similar to Chatime outlet at Damansara Utama. They have two tables which had the sofa and it's really comfortable to sit on and once you sit on it, you feel like sleeping there. I personally like this kind of interior design and lighting compared to those clean design in Yippee Cup, Share Tea or those Taiwanese dessert shop. After all, you want to be in a place where you can hang out with family or friends and chill right?
