The Genting Club Launch

I was invited to the launch of Genting Club on the 28th of September along with over 800 exclusive guests. After having my dinner with members of the media at Coffee Terrace, we were then escorted to the Genting Club at 9.15pm. I was quite impressed with the set up of the Genting Club for the launch especially on the 'human-deco' around the club.

The club boasts of an integrated lifestyle premium space of 30,000 square feet and was built at a cost of RM120 million to offer Resorts World Genting’s elite customers a complete luxurious extravagant lifestyle and entertainment experience.

The black-tie by-invitation only event themed ‘The Great Fantasy Ball’ saw the corporate who’s who, fashionistas and socialites from various parts of Asia at the Genting Club for an 18-hour grand opening celebration from “night to noon”. The event was hosted by Resorts World Genting in partnership with STYLO International.

Recycled items, a favourite of STYLO took to the spotlight as fashion couture and body-art took on a new form as art and arts imitate life. A giant 'slot machine' made up of 10 burlesque dancers huddled together in artistically-done body paint work greeted guests as they entered the Genting Club's world of fantasy.

Fashion Fantasies Showcase at 360 Bar
The Genting Club has an exuberance to it which is reflected in the modern, some would even say, futuristic decor. Different colours are used - metallic silver which glistan with a shimmering sheen, vibrant reds that seem to pop out with life, even gold - so often a difficult colour to use owing to the tendency for it to look artificial - has been utilised to great effect. And complementing the colours are design motifs - geometrical shapes that are almost three - dimensional in nature.

Genting Club designed in an absolute luxurious world class setting, consists of Ltitude Restaurant, Bar & Lounge and the 360 Bar. The Ltitude offers three distinctive areas, namely to dine, chill and a patio with a million dollar view from 6000 ft above the sea level.

360 bar lives up to its name: it opens a whole new horizon on life, viewed from all around, and how to live it well – with a glass in the hand, a tap in the feet and rhythm in the soul. The stuff for life as a party is all here: the best boutique beers on tap, house-pouring brand wines and cocktails to order from world-class mixologists to chase away the blues. Super-charge the senses with `live’ band music and mega-sized motion murals for an adrenalin rush to a new level.

LTITUDE Restaurant, Bar & Lounge
The Genting Club is an exclusive retreat that sets a high bar in world-class standards. From its amenities to ambience and service, no detail has been overlooked to create a luxurious cranny for the masters of the universe.

Cigar Bar classically designed with leather and high backed sofas.
LTITUDE is truly in a league of its own where guests can contemplate life at the top with a cigar and drinks, or après-meal or have conversations sparked around the retractable fireplace or the custom-created ice tube conveyor.

The patio, standing at 6,000ft above sea level and overlooking at the entire Genting Outdoor Theme Park, First World Plaza and further, the city of KL. It's seriously a cool place to chill with a glass of wine or your favorite beer.
The Genting Club has it all - entertainment, fun and dine under one roof. I truly hope that one day I can sign up to become a member to partake the luxury and extravagant of the experience at Genting Club.
