Three dynamic, and edgy Tiger Beer bottles will be available for purchase at an outlet near you from August 22 onward. Released in conjunction with its music and arts initiative, Tiger Jams, the regular 325ml beer bottles will be dressed in a colourful wrap designed through collaborations with the campaign’s visual artists and acclaimed Asian acts.
In an artistic electric blue and bright yellow hue artwork, Malaysian street artist Donald Abraham perfectly captured Singaporean indie pop band The Sam Willows’ narrative and song rhythms in a creative piece inspired by the song, ‘All Time High’. Abraham’s design also speaks of chance connections amidst the crowded busy streets of Kuala Lumpur.
The second design is a result of a pairing between two home-grown talents, light artist Flex and pop prince Darren Ashley. The finished product is a mesmerising visualisation of the smooth and easy vibe that synonymously defines Ashley’s music and the peaceful start of a Kuala Lumpur day. Entitled ‘Good Morning’, the art piece emanates the sublime colour tones of a perfect sunrise.
Hong Kong’s pop punk band ToNick inspired local graffiti artist Kenji Chai to fill his canvas with an abstract piece depicting Kuala Lumpur’s industrious buzz. Various shades of blue mixed in with orange and bronze tones pays homage to the courage to follow one’s own path amidst the complexity of city life in an artwork named ‘T.o.N.i.c.k’.
Tiger Beer marketing manager Jessie Chuah says: “The limited edition Tiger Beer bottles represent Tiger Jams’ support of the country’s music industry and the art platform that is eminently growing. Each visual artist and Tiger Jams acclaimed musicians have put forward their best collaborative creativity in three designs that define the music scene and Kuala Lumpur’s picturesque cityscape in a unique way. We hope that everyone enjoys them as much as we have enjoyed the process of producing them.”
