Last weekend, I dropped by CITTA Mall for its Ohara Matsuri event, which is a Japanese autumn festival happened from 26th until 27th November.
The event was located at first floor of CITTA Mall and there a lot of stalls set up for the event which were selling plush toys, kimono, yukata, books, manga, accessories and many more.
Not to forget, there were also plenty of food stalls and one of them was selling mochi which happened to be one my favorite Japanese confection.
I was also attracted to the kendama, a simple traditional Japanese toy where we get to learn from the experts there other than purchasing them.
There were activities such as Children Japanese Dance Along sessions to Kendama Workshops, Udon eating competition to cupcake decoration, arts and crafts to Japanese traditional attire photo taking session.
The Ohara Matsuri event started of with energetic Japanese Dance Along Session.
Followed by the Ohara Matsuri Colouring Contest. These kids are really creative! :D
One of the main highlight of the event is the yukata and kimono rental for photo op.
We can print your instant 4R photo here for RM2 and can also choose to print it out on a instant button badge for RM5.
It was indeed a good gesture for Tan Sri Tan Foundation to donate RM10,000 to Yayasan Sunbeams home. Cheque was presented by Dato’ Robert Teo Keng Tuan, a Council Member of Tan Sri Tan Foundation to Pr Victor Maniam.
Yayasan Sunbeams Home (YSH), a non-governmental, self-supporting multi-racial foundation, is home to displaced, abused and neglected children of single-parents
