The Launch of ECCO's Spring/Summer 2018 Collection in Pavilion KL

About two weeks ago, I was invited to the launch of ECCO's Spring/Summer 2018 Collection. ECCO has marked another milestone in the company’s history of over half a century by launching its collection at their newly refurbished store in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

Local fashion trendsetter, Andre Amir was the emcee of the event that day

The company was founded by Karl Toosbuy in Denmark in the year 1963, ECCO rose from humble beginnings, pioneering the comfortable footwear concept in the 70s. With a firm philosophy that “the shoe must follow the foot” and not the other way around, ECCO’s claim to fame was its uncompromised quality and comfort afforded by its products. By 1982, the company was averaging sales of more than 1 million pairs of shoes annually and today, the company records a multi-billion Euro turnover the world over.

From the video presentation shown at the event, we get to know that ECCO is one of the major shoe manufacturers in the world to own and manage every step of the shoemaking process – from leather production through manufacturing in its own factories all the way to its retail stores.

Which one do your prefer? Oxfords or Brogues?

I personally prefer this Brogues leather shoe design

The company owns six factories around the world – one each in Thailand, Slovakia, Vietnam, Portugal, Indonesia and China. The leather used in its products is produced in the company’s own tanneries located in Netherlands, China, Indonesia and Thailand.

My favorite! So sleek and cool!

One of their collection which is 100% waterproof shoe and 360degree breathability

By owning and operating every step of the manufacturing process, from rawhide to retail, ECCO is able to manage and control the uncompromised quality of which its products are made, together with its attention to detail which continuously challenge convention in its pursuit for uniqueness, while keeping prices sensible.

More than 350 million pairs of ECCO shoes have walked this earth to date. ECCO even expanded its product offerings beyond just shoes. ECCO delivers products of highest quality standards, a perfect fit and great-looking designs at affordable prices – that’s what keeps customers returning as they know and understand the value derived from ECCO’s products, which are also reflected in its Spring / Summer 2018 collection.

ECCO is one of the brand which emphasised a lot on quality and comfort. There are a few interesting shoe collection that I am fond of and I can see that their design caters for young to old. So if you would like to know more information about ECCO shoes and its Spring / Summer collection can be found at their website www.ecco.com. Its latest collection of products are now available at all ECCO retail stores.
