Not long ago, I've received a highly versatile and portable speaker which feature a unique suction pad to prop up tablets and smartphones and connects to any Bluetooth device in order to stream music and calls wirelessly, it is called the Gum Rock speaker.

Designed to allow you to navigate and control your music how you want, the Gum Rock Bluetooth speaker includes a simple button interface on the front of the speaker which allows you to skip forward and back tracks as well as control the volume of the music. This allows you to do this wirelessly, without having to be near the device which you are streaming the audio from. This speaker can connect to any of your Bluetooth devices such as your smartphone, tablet or even laptops. I have included a video at the end of this review where I have tested this speaker against the built in speaker in the MacBook Pro 13".
The Gum Rock speaker features built-in Bluetooth 3.0 technology with active pairing so you can wirelessly pair your Bluetooth enabled device and play your tunes without getting wires tangled. The Bluetooth works within a 35 foot range so you've got the freedom to move around with your phone without having to carry your speaker with you.

This Gum Rock speaker includes a Micro USB Charging Cable to charge the speaker from your laptop, pc or USB adaptor. Built-in rechargeable battery lasts up to 6 hours wirelessly. The built-in rechargeable lithium battery within the Gum Rock speaker is 450mAh. This will give you up to 8 hours of wireless music playback time from a single charge. When the battery is dead, simply connect the included charging cable to recharge, which takes around 2-3 hours.

Premium tuned drivers provide superb sound reproduction featuring a 40mm speaker the Gum Rock is excellent for clear conference calling as well as listening to music, delivering great bass and crisp mids for excellent music playback. You can check out the audio test video below.
What I like about this product: Short amount of time to charge but can last for half a day. The audio quality deliver great bass and loud although it's small but slight lack of clarity. The buttons on the speaker works perfectly and pretty convenient if your speaker is at another room away from your device.
What I dislike about this product: There's supposed to be a LED indicator at the bottom of the speaker but I can't see it cause of the black exterior of the speaker masked the light. I think it will be fine on other colours but not black. The speaker only will work on media players but the function button like next or previous track won't work on YouTube video or such.
