First Buddhist Pastor Ordination at Kechara House

On the 24th of October 2011, I was invited by Nuffnang to the First Buddhist Pastor Ordination at Kechara House. Malaysia is one of the country among the pioneering countries in the world to witness a truly meritorious ceremony that sees for the first time ever the creation of lay Buddhist pastors.

The First Buddhist Pastor Ordination held at Kechara House.
Kechara House Buddhist Association is proud to be the first in the country to hold a pastor ordination ceremony, which will be presided over and personally blessed by spiritual guide H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. Hailing from the illustrious Gaden Monastery and himself recognized as a high incarnate Lama, Tsem Rinpoche will ordain four lay pastors based on an unbroken, authentic lineage of Buddhist teaching and practice.

This ordination of lay Buddhist pastors is a truly significant moment for Buddhists throughout this region – it allows the pastors to maintain their external commitments of family and work while at the same time, engage in a meaningful spiritual practice and be of tremendous, lifelong benefit to the community.

What I admire about Tsem Rinpoche is that he did not talks about the weakness or bad things of other religion but he believes that every good religion can lead and mould a person into good doings.

It was indeed something different about Buddhism now, they have pastors to teach and to evangelize Buddism to the believers and non believers.

Do visit Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's blog here.
He talks a lot about some quite interesting paranormal activity stories.
