The Avengers (2012) Movie Review

The Avengers was officially out on the 4th of May 2012 but due to the high demand, most of the shows were fully booked through out the opening night and for the whole weekend. I happened to get the 2D shows on the following Wednesday at Golden Screen Cinema and paid for a cheaper price since it's the movie day. Anyway, below is some of the snippets from the movie and a little spoiler for those who have not watched The Avengers.

Synopsis:
Nick Fury is director of S.H.I.E.L.D, an international peace keeping agency. The agency is a who's who of Marvel Super Heroes, with Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When global security is threatened by Loki and his cohorts, Nick Fury and his team will need all their powers to save the world from disaster.

Director: Joss Whedon
Writers: Joss Whedon (screenplay) & Zak Penn (story)
Stars: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson

I've watched both Captain America and Thor the movie and I understood how Captain America actually being 'sent' over to the present day from the 2nd World War which he was involved in. As for Thor, I think the script writer purposely cut short his part by explaining that he came all the way from Azgard

It did not come into my mind that Loki will take control of Hawkeye and Black Widow role is more substantial along with the Avengers. By the way, she totally kicked Hawkeye's ass badly! :D

Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk in The Avengers. I personally prefer the actor Edward Norton from the Incredible Hulk as his character was more similar as comparison with the comic figure.

Above is the picture of all the actors and actress for each character except for Loki and Nick Fury.

The image above is the "Shawarma" which was mentioned by Ironman after awaken by the Hulk. It was not shown in Malaysia during the after credit scene and I read that it's only for cinemas in US. You can find this after credit scene in Youtube by typing 'The Avengers Shawarma After Credit'.

Some trolling moments which I found in Facebook the other day shared by my friend.

Here's some of The Avengers thumb drive. Not sure if it's real or fake ones created by The Avengers fanboys. Anyway, it's cool to own one of this...

My Conclusion: This is a good action movie for everyone but I believe this is not the best movies by Marvel itself. I would have preferred to watch Ironman (the 1st movie) twice compared to this. It's a bit too draggy and some parts they did not explain it well. Though they can do better with the plots and storyline, the CGI and action was perfectly done. The jokes made by Ironman was the funniest among all. My rating 8/10.

So what do you think about this movie?

.: Peace Out :.
