Director: Mabrouk El Mechri
Writers: Scott Wiper & John Petro
Stars: Henry Cavill, Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver
Running time: 93 minutes
Rating: PG13

Superman, Henry Cavill can take a good beating.
Sinopsis:
After his family is kidnapped during their sailing trip in Spain, a young Wall Street trader is confronted by the people responsible: intelligence agents looking to recover a mysterious briefcase.

A very different role played by Sigourney Weaver in this movie.
Will, owner of a business consultant business that went bankrupt knows how to use a gun immediately right after his dad was killed.
Check out the trailer of The Cold Light of Day below:

Flaws #1: Will was wearing a plastic backpack when he went to the pharmacy to get the antiseptic cream. When he climbs up the hill to look for the sailboat, he's missing the plastic backpack. When he finds it and swims towards it, he's wearing the plastic backpack again.

Flaws #2: It was total darkness when Will's dad got shot. As he ran away from the bad guys, the scene became dark blue-ish then brighter as he stumbled upon a policeman then immediately became totally normal day light. He must had been running for more than 30 minutes for one particular scene and still haven't get caught by the trained killers. By the way, none of them can shoot well.

My Conclusion: Definitely not a movie that I will pay to watch in the cinema. The action was too shaky through out the entire movie and the script was too tacky from segregating it from any other normal action movies. The lighting especially during the night scene at the beach was poorly done. I can't even see who punches who and I think it was a bit hard to noticed that Bruce Willis appeared to save his son. He died shortly the next scene after appearing in total of not more than 10 minutes of the movie. The reason why I wanted to watch this movie is because of Bruce Willis and not Henry Cavill, the upcoming Man of Steel's Superman.

My Rating: 1/5

.: Peace Out :.
