Guinness St.Patrick 'March More Fun' Celebration!

The first quarter of the year is ending soon. Seems like this year gonna be a short year for me as there's a lot of activities and planning that I've done for the coming days ahead. Anyway, on this particular month I was invited to attend the Guinness St.Patrick 'March More Fun' Celebration. 

Most of you might have read my earlier blog post here about Guinness to be hosting Malaysia's biggest St.Patrick's pub crawl and yes I was given a privilege to ride on the shutter bus from Soul Out Mont Kiara all the way to Changkat Bukit Bintang. It was raining heavily at the meet up point but it didn't stop us from continuing the pub crawl journey.

Here comes Bus C, the most awesome bus just because I'm on it. Each bus has its own very DJ personality. On our bus was Jeremy Teo from Red FM. He's in charge to keep every passenger in the bus entertained through out the journey and give us some fantastic prizes upon answering his quizes correctly.

We were encourage to download the Drink Sensibly App by Guinness which was launched late last year. The DS app boasts six features that includes keeping track of one’s drinking consumption, booking cabs, list of cab providers and their numbers across Malaysia, tips on how to drink sensibly and so on.



My Pub Crawl Passport to ride in this shutter bus and also there's some column for them to stamp on it when we completed any of the pub crawl task. Complete six stamps and we will be eligible to particape the lucky draw. Two iPad Mini and ten cartons of Guinness beer to be giveaway. All of us were given 6 coupons to redeem our beer at their selected outlet. Some find it not enough but the staff was very kind to give us extra! :)

There were some free mineral water for party goers to rehydrate and cab booking services that night. We downloaded the DS Apps and got some freebies from them! :)



Look at the St.Patrick crowd on the street! It was really happening... I'm sure this would be the second most happening place after FMFA in Sepang on the same night.

As the party was still on going, we went to El Rincon - Authentic Spanish Cuisine Restaurant to throw in our passport for the pub crawl task lucky draw.

That's me! I won an iPad Mini... I was quite surprised to be called out on the first draw.

We were called to alight the bus at 12am and everyone were sent back to Soul Out Mont Kiara. Although I didn't manage to drink a lot that night but it was quite a special St.Patrick experience for me. Hopefully next year would be better and as the slogan said,"March More Fun!"
