It was my first time visiting the Malaysia Tourism Centre in Jalan Ampang and it's for the MaTic Festival 2013 which was held for 3 days from 29 Nov until 1 Dec 2013. This festival was organised by Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia to promote MaTiC as a One-Stop Centre for local and oversea tourist facilities through various services provided.
MaTiC Fest is an annual event and the participation is open to public, both local and tourist. As for 2013, more comprehensive program involving sports activities, people, talent, pets and cultural. Every activities are designed to suit all age.
Paintball competition, champion will walk away with RM2000 cash and medal.
There are clowns walking around making balloons for the children. Food stalls available through out the festival and Cat Show Display and Cat Show Contest where the winner will walk away with trophy and goodies!
Karaoke competition for all age and the winner will walk away with RM1000 cash and hamper. I was quite amazed with the kid's voice singing a malay song.
There's also batik colouring and kids colouring contest at least to make the kids occupy with something while the parents are busy with paintball or singing karaoke.
For the hunks and body builder, arm wrestling competition would definitely be your pick. There's participant came all the way from Singapore and I think he became the champion to walk away with RM1000 cash and medal.

Last but not least, my childhood toy - Tamiya Mini 4WD competition! Feeling kinda nostalgic and I've spent so much money and time for this hobby when I was a teenager. This is the race for the fastest mini 4WD car. Winner walks away with brand new Tamiya car, trophy and hamper.
MaTiC Fest is supported by various quarters including KFC, Ribena Malaysia, Secret Garden, Cocoa Boutique, Saloma Bistro, as well as the close cooperation of Tourism Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and the Secretariat of Visit Malaysia Year 2014. During the day, several artists will enliven the event of Hyper Act, Estranged Group, Lan Typewriter, Amanda Imani, M David Luster and Ezlyn.
