Nights of Fright 3: Festival of Fear at Sunway Lagoon

On the 17th of October, I went to Sunway Lagoon at night time. What? Do they still open at night? Yes, they do cause it's the Halloween month and they are organising the Nights of Fright 3.

Local Celebrities invading scare fest yet, the ‘Nights of Fright 3: Festival of Fear!
The entrance to Sunway Lagoon were abuzz recently as visitors were eager to catch a glimpse of six celebrities invading the largest scare fest yet, the ‘Nights of Fright 3: Festival of Fear! It was quite cool to actually see some our the local celebrities in costumes and scary make-ups. You can check out their photos below.

Nigel Chin, vicious inmates at the infamous Pudu Jail
Brandon Ho, vicious inmates at the infamous Pudu Jail
Magdeline Wang, a vampire with an appetite for fresh blood
Kevin Chong as the ancient Chinese vampire.
Diyana, a vengeful zombie beyond recognition with her face ripped off
Kit Mah, a clown with malicious intentions, joker much? Where's Batman when we need him?
Magdeline Wang, Fly FM radio announcer was transformed into a vampire with an appetite for fresh blood; while Kit Mah, popular face of local dramas like “Sesuci Cintamu” took on the role as a clown with malicious intentions, turning happy moments to frightful scares. On the other hand, Nigel Chin, the rising star in the modelling industry, and Brandon Ho, 8TV quickie resident host were pretty boys turned vicious inmates at the infamous Pudu Jail. Terrorising guests on the streets were  and Diyana, Traxx FM radio announcers, both embodying a Chinese vampire from ancient times and a vengeful zombie beyond recognition with her face ripped off, respectively.

‘Nights of Fright 3: Festival of Fear’ in Sunway Lagoon this October is filled with all new scare zones and scare mazes bringing a whole new level of terror. Join the host, Mr. Chaos, a human-decayed zombie with a sole mission to create a carnival of chaos, and his new bride Ms. Havoc as you explore their world of chaotic frightfulness!

The epicenter of all things evil during Nights of Fright 3, Lynton V Harris Scream Park is featuring the all new KEVIL HILL…a cryonic vision of the future gone dangerously wrong! KEVIL HILL- where evil lives!

Be sure to head to Terrortory-X, for a feast of fright with the very scary, “Escape from Pudu 2 as even more deranged and hungry inmates join last year’s scariest attraction. Plus, the all-time favourite, “The Mummy’s Revenge Tomb of Terror - in 3D!”.  Terrortory-X is also home to the new TOXIC- The Scariest Place Unearthed – a devastated wasteland where chainsaw wielding mutants have destroyed everything in their sights!

Go treasure hunting at Pirate Jack’s Locker O’ Lanterns, but there is no guarantee of a return as the pirate zombies refuse to let go of their lost treasure in an atmosphere clouded with despair and desperation. Death Port is no place for the faint-hearted. All sorts of criminals were brutally executed here, and the corpses have been left there to serve as a warning that nothing stays dead for long!

And if that’s not enough to get hearts racing, go face to face with Sadako – Japan’s creepiest ghost. Sadako Dori is your worst nightmare come to life. So when the slit-mouthed woman painfully asks ‘Am I pretty’, answer correctly, and whatever you do, do not look into the well!

My verdict, I had a fun night with friends going through all the scare houses. Kevin Hill seems to be the most popular among all but the scariest award goes to Toxic. I quite like the idea of making most of the theme park rides available except for those water rides and surf beach is closed too. Too bad we couldn't experience all the rides cause we were a little late. So if you want to fully enjoy all the rides and scare houses, make sure you be there on time which is at 7.30pm and I am pretty sure that you too will stay until the end like I did.

Visitors may dress up in their spookiest outfits to attend Nights of Fright 3*. At only RM58 per person, there is unlimited rides and attractions available throughout the Amusement Park.

*This event is recommended for guests above 12 years old. Visitors dressed in their coolest and spookiest costumes will not be allowed to wear face masks or theatrical makeup to the event nights.

Daytime park guests who wish to “Feel the Fear” at Nights of Fright 3 on the same evening as their visit, may enjoy a special rate at only RM35. Nights of Fright 3: Festival of Fear @ Sunway Lagoon will continue on the following dates: 22nd-24th and 29th-31st October 2015, from 7.30pm till 11.30pm.
