Tomato Bruschetta (RM22) |
To begin the gastronomic journey, we had our appetizers which are categorized as 'bar snack' in their menu. The Tomato Bruschetta consisting freshly toasted bread, cherry tomato, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil, black pepper and sea salt. The bread is crispy but not tough and the juiciness of the cherry tomatoes goes very well with it. There's also option to add salmon for RM7.
 |
School Prawn (RM22) |
Next is the School Prawn. Crispy prawn, chilli mayo and lemon was one of the crowd favorite as the crispiness of the prawn and the goodness of the chilli mayo sauce had me addicted to eating it.
 |
Popcorn Chicken (RM22) |
The Popcorn Chicken is deep fried bite sized crispy chicken thigh with grain mustard aioli. The popcorn chicken was said one of their popular snacks but somehow the one that we had that day was quite hard, maybe cause it's cold but then again it could've been perfect if it's crispy but soft on the inside.
 |
Murgh Malai Kebab (RM28) |
Now we head straight to the main course. First one will be the Murgh Malai Kebab. It's great for those who didn't want to have a heavy meal but filling enough. Yoghurt marinated chicken breast, Asian slaw, mint chutney and cucumber raita in Lebanese bread.
 |
Garlic Pan Seared Salmon (RM42) |
The Garlic Pan Seared Salmon consist of black bean pilaf rice, kale, asparagus and chilli mango salsa. I didn't get to try it but from what I heard, the salmon was nicely cooked and tasty although it had a slight fishy taste.
 |
Alaskan Crab Burger (RM46) |
Next is the Alaskan Crab Burger. Crab patty, tomato, lettuce, grain mustard spread, served with fries and tomato salad. I personally like the crab patty and it has a very soft and nice texture in it. My only comment is that it could use some more sauce as it's a bit dry.
 |
Tiger Prawn Arabiatta (RM33) |
My girlfriend ordered the Tiger Prawn Arabiatta as she's a fan of prawn and pasta, she'll opt for seafood pasta other than steak whenever it's available on the menu. It's tiger prawn and basil in a rustic spicy tomato with pasta.
 |
Arroz de Morisco (RM42) |
The Arroz de Morisco is Portuguese seafood rice with soft shell crab, fish, prawn, mussels, clams, olive, coriander and beef chorizo. I didn't get to try the crab but I do enjoy eating the rice with the aroma of various seafood taste in it.
 |
Triple Trio Supreme (RM38) |
For pizza lovers, you can try the Triple Trio Supreme. Chicken sausage, chicken ham, grilled chicken, onion ring, cocktail onion, onion marmalade, mozzarella, cheddar and emmental cheeses
 |
Nihari Gosht (RM42) |
Lamb ossobucco cooked with an Indian spiced gravy and served with naan.
 |
Lamb Shank (RM48) |
What I order was the Lamb Shank. A generous piece of lamb shank with creamy mushroom risotto, French beans and apricot fig jus. I finished up the risotto in an instance after my first spoon. It's creamy, it's delicious and it's what my taste bud would not resist. For the lamb shank, it's moist, not too dry, sauce is good but it's nothing much to shout about.
 |
Muskmelon Sangria (RM19/glass or RM95/bottle) |
 |
Kinabalu (RM18) |
Chilled pulpy orange juice, chilled mango juice, mint syrup, yoghurt smoothie
base, mint leaves, lime juice. It's non alcoholic.

Rum, lychee liqueur, mango syrup, mango fruit, lime wedges, mint leaves. My girlfriend order this and I managed to have a few sips and easily be one of my favorite mojito.
 |
Koffee Karamel Mojito (RM28) |
Cognac, coffee liqueur, caramel syrup, mint leaves, lime wedges. I ordered this but I didn't quite enjoy it as the rum was too much for me.
 |
Tropical Pavlova (RM15) |
It was my first time tasting a pavlova and I definitely enjoy the Tropical Pavlova from WIP.
 |
Peanut Butter Pannacotta (RM15) |
Peanut Butter Pannacotta, I have no complains whatsoever. I indulged myself into a creamy and lovely experience of this Italian cooked cream dessert.
 |
Lava Cake with Häagen Dazs Ice Cream (RM17) |
The Lava Cake with Häagen Dazs Ice Cream was just irresistible. The lava cake is chocolaty, yummy and soft on the inside. I could have finished it all by myself if it wasn't meant for sharing. Hahaha...
Verdict: WIP offers a wide range of food and beverages, their appetizers were good but somehow the price will be the main concern. Some of the main dishes offered were good but not great, definitely has some rooms for improvement. I won't mind to pay WIP a visit to chill with my family and friends and indulge myself with the three desserts which I had.
WIP
.: Peace Out :.
