PUMA Reveals Latest Edition of Dual Coloured Tricks Boots

PUMA reveals the latest edition of its dual coloured Tricks boot with PUMA players Sergio Agüero, Marco Reus, Cesc Fàbregas, Marco Verratti, Olivier Giroud and others ready to Play Loud in the weeks ahead. The striking Pink Glo and Safety Yellow evoPOWER and evoSPEED boots are sure to turn heads during the major football tournaments this summer.

Working with a CMYK colour palette, the latest PUMA Tricks boots feature a signature two- colour approach. The left vamp is Pink Glo and the right Safety yellow, connecting to the black heel with a geometric pattern. The evoPOWER 1.3 boot keeps the principles of barefoot kicking at its core, with increased flexibility resulting in more kicking power. The evoSPEED is light and responsive, to improve speed and maneuverability.

PUMA’s Spanish midfielder maestro Cesc Fàbregas: “PUMA have done it again and set the style this summer with their signature bold two-colour boots! I’m really proud to be representing Spain in the Euros this summer, and looking forward to standing out in these boots through the tournament! There are exciting weeks ahead!”

PUMA’s two-coloured boot concept is inspired by Cameroonian Rigobert Song’s World Cup moment in 1998, when he decided on a whim to lace up two different coloured PUMA King boots. His right was yellow, his left red. As Song said, “you must be bold” to wear two different colours on each foot and that’s exactly what PUMA Tricks represents. Standing out on the pitch requires attitude. One that commands the ball, the attention and the moment. A desire to Play Loud for all the world to see.

“The Tricks boots match my style of play perfectly,” said Argentinean star striker and PUMA player Sergio Agüero. “Everyone went crazy for Tricks at the World Cup two years ago and PUMA has outdone itself by bringing these boots back to the pitch with the bold pink and yellow colours. I love the evoSPEED boots I am wearing at the moment – they are so lightweight you can hardly feel them on your feet but still provide a lot of support.”

The new PUMA Tricks evoPOWER 1.3, evoSPEED SL and evoSPEED 1.5 along with the Tricks evoTRG apparel, ball and evoPOWER glove are available to purchase online at www.puma.com and in stores worldwide from the 21 April.
