Ziffy Kitchen & Espresso Bar @ Sunway Nexis, Kota Damansara (Food Review)

Ziffy Kitchen & Espresso Bar is located at Sunway Nexis in Kota Damansara and easily accessible by MRT with the interconnected Surian MRT station. This place has a modern interior deco with plenty of western and asian food to offer. Let's head straight to the food review below.

There were two main dishes and two drinks served on that day and first, I will start off with the food.

Ziffy Beef Burger (RM30.00)

I did ask for the food recommendation from the staff at Ziffy and they recommended this Ziffy's very own signature burger with 180g beef patty, beef bacon, onion rings, sunny-side up, mixed green and a side of sweet potato fries.

The beef patty was quite juicy and flavourful and I do not mind the combination of the onion rings, beef bacon and sunny side-up egg on top of that. The onion rings added a crunchiness feel into every bite and I personally enjoy this dish. The sweet potato fries were great too and I absolutely prefer this over normal potato fries.

I See-Food (RM35.00)

Next is a pasta dish which is called I See-Food and this dish comprise of Tiger prawns, blue mussels, butterfish chunks, grilled calamari, sun-dried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, spinach, parsley and extra virgin olive oil. The pasta was not too oily and it's cooked just right. The Tiger prawns size were adequate and it tasted good too!

Now for the drinks, I've chosen on of their signature coffee drinks which is Hazel, You're Nuts (RM16.00). It's an iced hazelnut latte topped with vanilla ice-cream. Dessert and coffee together, why not? :)

Last but not least, one of their signature craft drinks – Assam Kedondong Mojito (RM15.00) is clearly my favorite. This drink has dried plum, assam powder, ambrella concentrate, lime, mint and soda water for a good thirst quencher during the hot weather.

For breakfast, they are offering seven (7) dishes on their Ziffy Breakie menu and they also have set lunches for those who want something more economical.

Here's some interior shots of Ziffy Kitchen & Espresso Bar.

The second or mezzanine floor can accommodate more patrons to dine in or just to chill with family and friends.

Overall, I felt that their food quality and drinks were pretty good. I do hope that some of the food prices can be adjusted to be more on the affordable side in order to attract more patrons to visit this place on a weekly basis.

  6. Oh! You take great pics! This type of food is right up my alley but my partner is not so receptive. He loves old school Chinese food.

    1. Thanks for the compliment Phong Hong! My dad is the same... he's the old school type too!

  7. Moreover, these espresso makers do have few extra astonishing highlights. Costs fluctuate significantly as per maker, limit notwithstanding usefulness.Helix Coffee

  8. I think their drinks are a highlight here.

  9. Buying coffee simply by name instead of by taste from your favorite roaster (in other words buying the same Columbian Supreme from the same "Joe's Cuppa Joe Roaster") definitely has its pitfall!mamascafe
