10 Fun Kids Friendly Must Visit Attractions in Selangor

Looking to spend more time with your family on weekends? Look no further. Everything is available in this beautiful state of Selangor, whether on weekends or during school holidays. This week, Tourism Selangor has compiled a list of ten places to visit, with itineraries for all preferences and ages. There is no need to search or travel to distant locations. There are many interesting places in the state of Selangor for them to do fun and interesting activities that will keep them away from gadgets for a while. Here are ten places to visit with your family and children that you can plan.

1. G2G Animal Farm @ MAEPS, Serdang

G2G Animal Farm is located in Serdang, Malaysia Agro Expo Park (MAEPS). G2G Animal Garden is a family -friendly pet zoo ideal for animal lovers, families and individuals who want to interact with animals. Take a walk at the G2G Animal Garden pet zoo with your family. Get close to nature and animals by feeding and petting animals. Cat House, Bird Cage, Animal Therapy House, Rabbit Park, Reptile House, Pigeon House, Tortoise Park and Village Pets are among the animal stations. Hours of operation are 10.00 am to 6.00 pm on weekdays, and 9.30 am to 6.00 pm on weekends and public holidays. The admission fee is RM20 for Children, RM25 for Adults and RM20 for Senior Citizens. 


2. Riverine Survival, Amverton Cove Golf & Island Resort, Pulau Carey

Another attraction you should visit is Riverine Survival Park! Built amidst a beautiful cluster of Beringin trees, this garden will provide shade and you can breathe the fresh air around the garden. Among the interesting attractions you can try is to run through their Garden Maze or explore obstacles or climb tree houses built around native trees. Don’t forget to try the new Flying Fox zip line too! All these attractions are suitable for children aged 3 and above and adults. Also plan a relaxing picnic with your family at Riverine Survival Park with our picnic basket promotion! Drinks and snacks for 4 pax only RM30 including rental of picnic baskets and mats for 3 hours. 3. Clay Expression Enterprise, Subang Jaya

Clay Expression is a place to develop your creativity through pottery making. The instructors here train those who want to make pottery a hobby, become a ceramic artist, to start a new teaching career or to relieve stress. Pottery making is more than turning a ball of clay into a desired object shape. Through the learning process, it requires you to touch and feel the clay you are producing. Very interesting, it calms the mind and is able to help focus your attention. Apart from that, it also challenges your determination, develops self -expression, as well as stretches your skills and imagination. 


4. RollerWa, 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya

RollerWa is Malaysia's first indoor skating and rink, located at One Utama (1U) shopping mall, District K, Level 1. A 2-hour session that includes renting a skating rink, skates and safety equipment priced at RM38 for adults and RM28 for children under the age of 18. The 1-day rental cost is RM68 for adults and RM58 for under 18s. If you are a beginner, there are safety fences on both sides and arrows to guide you through the route. There are also instructors on duty who will give you guidance and tutoring; it is recommended that you wear complete safety equipment. Also, RollerWa is an Instagrammable spot location, as they have set up 2 Photo Booths to take photos with family and friends with stunning neon lighting. 


5. FlowRider, 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya

Have you ever thought of going surfing at the mall? You can now at the convenience of a stream riding simulator and browse the 1 Main Shopping Mall. At 1 Main, FlowRider is a hybrid board sport that combines skating, snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding and skiboarding techniques. Experience endless waves with the help of a competent instructor, whether you are a beginner surfer or a skilled surfer. An endless stream of water flowing at a speed of 32 km/h over the surface of the composite vinyl produces a perfect wave. Riders can glide up and down, perform stunts, and spin on the resulting wave -like shape. 


6. HL Dragon Fruit Eco Farm, Sepang

Visitors can see the beauty of the dragon fruit farm at HL Dragon Fruit Eco Farm, which is an interesting place worth visiting. In addition, you can learn how to cultivate dragon fruit crops, see how dragon fruit trees are planted and can even choose dragon fruit for yourself. HL Dragon Fruit Eco Farm is not just a farm tour, it also has a restaurant that serves dragon fruit -based dishes and drinks. Another highlight is the food menu, which is based on dragon fruit! Before visiting HL Dragon Fruit Eco Fruit Farm and seeing dragon fruit, you will pass through the HL Restaurant & Cafe area, which offers a variety of products and a cuisine menu featuring dragon fruit as the main ingredient. 


7. Jump Street Asia, Petaling Jaya

Jump Street Trampolline Park is an urban playground dedicated to jumping, bouncing, rolling and any other anti -gravity activity. Nearly a hundred trampolines are connected into a large court, including a unique basketball hoop, a trampoline -dodging ball court, a bubble hole to jump into and a giant airbag to land safely. Jump Street Asia is a fun playground for everyone, whether you are new to trampoline or an experienced athlete. Jump on the open court, play trampoline dodge ball, polish your aerial abilities in the high-performance area, or stop by the Jump CafĂ© for a bite to eat and a cup of coffee. Even the little ones have their own special jumping area, which is open to young people as young as 3 years old. 


8. Cove Aerobar @ Discovery Park, Gamuda Cove, Dengkil

The Aerobar at Discovery Park Gamuda Cove is the first Aerobar in Southeast Asia. No need to travel abroad; you can bring your family to Selangor. This popular aerobar can accommodate up to 15 people and offers stunning sunset views. It uses the concept of "food- tainment" or food entertainment, that is, eating while being entertained. The aerobar will take you up to 40 meters in the air, and you can enjoy the stunning views while dining. This aerobar has a very romantic atmosphere, and it costs only RM35! 

9. Future Land Fun Zone, Petaling Jaya
