6 Must Try Restaurants in Sepang

Sepang has a diverse range of attractions and has always been quite popular among local tourists. It's not just popular for motorsports event and where you need to get to when taking a flight to different destinations. So if you're looking for a place to dine in Sepang but don't know where, here are six restaurants as recommended by Tourism Selangor for you to try!

Head over to Senandung Malam Seafood for affordable seafood dishes. Located at Bagan Lalang, which is only an hour away from Kuala Lumpur, this restaurant serves an array of freshly caught seafood.

Customers can select their own seafood and way of preparation, including fish, squids, prawns, cockles, and several varieties of clams. Senandung Malam Seafood is an outdoor, casual restaurant by the beach. It opens at 5pm onwards so customers can watch the sunset and enjoy the ocean breeze while dining.

Do you have trouble choosing between Italian and Malaysian cuisine? Well, why not just choose both! The Tepen at Tamarind Square, Cyberjaya serves the ultimate Asian fusion dishes. With your classic Aglio Olio pasta mixed with Bunga Kantan or grilled salmon in Laksa, this restaurant is definitely for those who crave something different.

Speaking of different, they also serve white rice in bamboo tubes with a selection of side dishes and a variety of unique desserts. So, enjoy your meal in this ‘retro-esque’ restaurant whenever you visit Cyberjaya!

Craving something simpler like half-boiled eggs and toast? Head over to Pak Ngah Cyber Kopitiam. Located in Cyberjaya, this modern style kopitiam serves classic Malaysian past-time favourites, from Nasi Lemak, Asam Laksa, and even soft-boiled eggs on toast with kaya and butter. Pair those with your choice of coffee and local kuihs to start your day.

Their menu also comprises western dishes such as chicken chop, tortilla and pasta to satisfy different taste buds. But their speciality is Nasi Minyak, which is a common rice dish served at Malay weddings. This kopitiam is a must-try.

Here’s another aesthetically pleasing spot that you can go to if you’re going to Cyberjaya. The Botanist is a beautiful café with a lush tropical setting that is perfect for insta users. They serve unique bao burgers as their speciality, along with other hot dishes, with coffee and tea. And if you’re vegan, they also serve dairy-free options.

Located at Tamarind Square, this café also sells eco-friendly products such as non-plastic toothbrush and chemical-free soap as a way to promote zero-waste awareness at their café.

Luck Bros Kopi in KLIA2 serves fresh brews, hot meals, and a variety of baked sweets. In addition to serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, they also have on-the-go options for those in a rush, especially when you’re travelling.

Ideal for sharing, we recommend their 5 Street Coffee which is one of their specialities that includes five types of coffee from different states in Malaysia; Johor, Pulau Pinang, Perak, Melaka and Kuala Lumpur. Its modern interior is also very inviting to the ‘Insta-Aesthetic’ folks. If you’re in KLIA2 and looking for some good food, Luck Bros Kopi is a great option for you.

Located at Pusat Perdagangan Warisan Central in Kota Warisan, Restoran Ummi Aisyah serves delicious seafood dishes, from grilled fishes, squids to prawn sambal and ‘Siput Sedut Masak Lemak’. They also have poultry, lamb and beef options. If that’s not enough, you can also find a variety of ulam and vegetable choices cooked in several ways.

The food is also made fresh and put to display, making it appetising for the customers. If you’re planning to eat here, we recommend their special dish which is the Siakap Terbang, a deep-fried Barramundi butterflied cut, served with sambal tempoyak and sambal belacan.

It's highly recommended to spend your weekend in Sepang because because there are many places for you to visit, stay overnight and even find some of the best food out there. You can drop by Pantai Bagan Lalang and check out Sepang Gold Coast too while you're there!
