I was at the Final Fantasy XVI pop-up event at Sunway Pyramid on the late evening of 21st June. On the same evening, electronics retailer Gamers Hideout were holding a Midnight Collection for pre-orders of Final Fantasy XVI. Gamers and fans of Final Fantasy gathered at the event to check out the activities prepared for them by the organizer.
The event took place at LG2 Orange Concourse of Sunway Pyramid from 22nd June until 2nd of July, and on 1st July, there was a special appearance by Yoshida Naoki, FINAL FANTASY XVI producer.

Fans can experience the dark fantasy world of Valisthea in this highly anticipated single-player action RPG. Be awed by large scale art installation, game art exhibition, hands-on demo stations with PlayStation 5 consoles and stand to win exclusive premiums. FYI, this game is currently an exclusive title on PS5 until end of the year.
They can and collect all 4 QR code stamps via Sunway Pyramid’s mobile app by completing 4 quests (1 QR code stamp per quest) at the pop-up event. Aside from that, on 24, 25, 30 June and 2 July from 2pm onwards, they can complete a check-in activity and collect a set of 8 unique FFXVI design coasters. Limited to the first 25 redemptions per day on a first-come-first-serve basis.

To enter: Visit FINAL FANTASY XVI MALAYSIA Pop-up at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall during the check-in schedule. Post a photo or video on Instagram with the Anamorphic Art Installation. You must also Follow and Tag @PlayStationAsia. Check-in at the Anamorphic Art Installation counter by flashing your PlayStation App to staff to verify that you are a PlayStation Plus Subscriber and have purchased Final Fantasy XVI.

Last but not least, there was also the Battle Performance Challenge. Participants can show their battle skills and stand to win incredible prizes such as a Final Fantasy XVI Collector’s Edition, FINAL FANTASY XVI 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle and more! Simply take on the Challenge at the PlayStation 5 hands-on zone and try to hit the highest battle score by defeating the monster.
Top players with the highest scores at the end of the promotion period will be awarded with the prizes.
