A huge congratulations to all the winners of Huawei Malaysia's Zoom Into Malaysia Photography Contest! I had the privilege to attend the award giving ceremony which took place at The Raw Studio by Metal Bees, PJ on the 26th of July 2023.
Huawei Malaysia celebrated the triumphant conclusion of the contest with a joyous award ceremony. The event honoured exceptional talents behind the lens, recognising winners with coveted prizes including the HUAWEI P60 Pro, HUAWEI WATCH FIT and HUAWEI FreeBuds 5. The contest's overwhelming response showcased Huawei's commitment to fostering creativity within Malaysia's photography community.
Zoom Into Malaysia Photography Contest showcased the capabilities of HUAWEI XMAGE technology,
unlocking the potential of photographers of Malaysia.
A total of 4,100 contestants from all over Malaysia participated in the Zoom Into Malaysia Photography Contest, which took place from May to June and offered a riveting platform for both professional and amateur mobile photographers to showcase their distinctive photography and filmmaking skills.
Participants were encouraged to use Huawei smartphones to capture the breathtaking beauty of Malaysia, letting their imaginations run wild as they captured the country's varied landscapes and lively cultural moments.
Mr. Victor Xu, Country Director of Huawei Malaysia Consumer Business Group (CBG) stated, “We were astounded by the level of creativity and ingenuity displayed by all the participants. The Zoom Into Malaysia Photography Contest not only captured breathtaking visuals but also unite photographers from various backgrounds, each contributing their unique storytelling through the lens of Huawei smartphones.”
The XMAGE brand, which was introduced in 2022, is concentrated on optical systems, mechanical design, imaging technology, and image processing in photography. The latest Huawei Mate50 Series Ultra Aperture Camera and HUAWEI P60 Pro Ultra Lighting Telephoto Camera feature all four XMAGE pillars and produce stunning images both during the day and at night thanks to their ground-breaking full-path light capturing capabilities.

Huawei continues to provide photographers with cutting-edge equipment so they may capture the beauty of Malaysia's landscapes and cultural moments with the help of XMAGE technology. It’s amazing to think that all these stunning images were captured on Huawei phones. It just goes to show how much smartphone cameras have evolved, and the power of XMAGE technology! 🌟 Might just light a spark in me to explore smartphone photography too. 🤔
