I was at Crowne Plaza in KL for the HONOR products launch event. HONOR Malaysia unveils four new devices, a lineup including of the HONOR Pad 9 5G, HONOR X7b 5G, HONOR MagicBook X 16 and HONOR Band 9.

HONOR Pad 9 5G (RM1,799)
Available in Space Gray color, the HONOR Pad 9 5G customers are entitled to free gifts worth RM698, comprising of an HONOR Pad 9 Smart Bluetooth Keyboard and HONOR CHOICE Pencil.
Customers can also bring home the HONOR Pad 9 5G for RM47 per month with Maxis Postpaid 79 plan or RM1 per month with CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 260 plan. For both telco plans, the tablet includes a free HONOR Pad 9 Smart Bluetooth Keyboard.
The HONOR Pad 9 5G offers a stunning 12.1-inch 2.5K Eye-Comfort Display, 120Hz refresh rate and 88% screen-to-body ratio. It came with Dynamic Dimming and Circadian Night Display, the tablet is certified by the signature from TÜV Rheinland for Low Blue Light and Flicker Free for further eye comfort viewing.
Its eight-speaker layout delivers 360° audio enhanced by HONOR Histen sound tuning and Bidirectional Vocal Enhancement. Storage wise, it has 256GB storage and powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon® 6 Gen 1 Mobile Platform. It has a 8300mAh battery for all-day usage.
To enhance productivity, the HONOR Pad 9 Smart Bluetooth Keyboard delivers an immersive PC-Like experience with a 5 key row design and 1.6mm key stroke. The HONOR CHOICE Pencil provides 4096 level of pressure sensitivity and anti-misoperation technology for uninterrupted drawing.
On a side note, the HONOR Pad X9 will also be available in a new storage upgrade of 13GB RAM with 5GB HONOR turbo RAM included and 256GB storage from April 25 onwards, priced at RM1,199. The tablet currently has a 7GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at RM999 via HONOR online store.
HONOR X7b 5G (RM899)
Next up, it's the new HONOR X7b 5G that comes with a 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 256GB storage is sufficient for up to 56,000 pictures, 22,000 songs, or 900 HD videos locally. The HONOR X7b 5G also features HONOR RAM Turbo, boosting the performance of 8GB RAM to 16GB for multitasking.
Available in color choices of Flowing Silver and Emerald Green.
Display wise, it is fitted with a 6.8-inch Hyper-Transmissive Display, 91.3% screen-to-body ration, 90Hz screen refresh rate, 850nit peak brightness and a resolution of 2412x1080 pixels.
In terms of power, the 6,000mAh battery, delivers up to 3 days of usage on a single charge. The camera shoots with its 108MP Main Camera and 1/1.67-inch sensor alongside a Portrait Mode with 2X zoom and a multi-video recording feature. It has a dual stereo speakers set-up, delivering a 200% high volume as its audio advance feature.
HONOR MagicBook X 16 (RM2,999)
The all new HONOR MagicBook X 16 offers 8GB RAM and 512GB, available in Space Gray. Customers can get free gifts worth RM468 which includes a HONOR Backpack, 1 year free Microsoft 365 subscription and a 3 years warranty.
A 16-inch HONOR FullView Display with a golden 16:10 aspect ratio and a 89% screen-to-body ratio and slim side bezels measuring just 4.5mm makes the high-resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels.
Powered by the 12th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-12450H Processor featuring four performance-cores that turbo up the device to 4.4GHz. HONOR MagicBook X 16 comes with a full-sized large keyboard and an independent numeric keypad. With the HONOR Connect intelligent features, users can connect their HONOR smartphone to the HONOR MagicBook X 16 to conveniently access and manage notifications, answer calls, and respond texts and messages on the larger screen.
HONOR Band 9 (RM199)
Bringing a modern design for an advanced fitness and health monitoring features, the HONOR Band 9 comprising options of Purple, Black and Blue. Equipped with a 1.57-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 60Hz for clearer notifications, users can stay updated with clear notifications including weather, messages, and so on.
With 96 training options to choose from, the innovative Fitness Age empowers users into overall insights of their fitness routine, body age assessments and oxygen uptake, giving them total control of their well-being.
Users can enjoy up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge, further supported by magnetic charging for a quick power-up when needed.
