I was invited to IKAN Residence in Janda Baik, Pahang for the special event titled “Japanese Living To Your Home” hosted by SHARP Malaysia. At the event, their showcase featured SHARP's Plasmacluster Ion (PCI) technology, offering participants a deep dive into a home living experience akin to that in Japan.

Ting Yang Chung, Managing Director of SHARP Electronics Malaysia, said, “Through the theme 'Japanese Living To Your Home,' we aim to demonstrate how SHARP integrates Japanese living philosophy with advanced technology to enhance everyday living. This is not just a showcase of technology but a cultural experience. Our technology and product designs are deeply rooted in a profound understanding and respect for traditional Japanese values, intended to improve users' daily lives in every detail, bringing a healthier and more harmonious home environment.”

SHARP Plasmacluster Ion (PCI) technology was introduced in 2000 and has developed over the course of 24 years, receiving accreditation from more than 40 research institutes throughout the globe. It keeps doing empirical research to produce high-quality goods with cutting-edge technology, improving people's quality of life all across the world. This reflects the meticulous Japanese craftsmanship spirit, striving for excellence in every detail.

SHARP has effectively sold two million Plasmacluster systems in Malaysia, indicating that the technology is widely accepted and trusted. The main selling point of the technology is its exceptional air purification capabilities, which efficiently gets rid of 99.9% of airborne germs and viruses. Its four main benefits—lowering infections, increasing focus, speeding up plant development, and easing asthma symptoms—have been validated by clinical trials.

SHARP provided hands-on demonstrations of its Plasmacluster Ion (PCI) air purifiers and other Plasmacluster series devices during the event. This featured refrigerators with the same technology and the SHARP Proflex washing machine. In only ten minutes, the Proflex washer's Dry Airwash mode can rid garments of germs and odours thanks to cutting-edge ion technology. Similar to this, the refrigerators greatly increase the freshness and nutritional content of stored food by using Plasmacluster Ion (PCI) technology to neutralise interior bacteria and odours.

Emily Chan, will serve as the product ambassador for the PCI (Plasmacluster Ion) product line

Furthermore, SHARP has announced that Emily Chan, a well-known local figure, will serve as the product ambassador for the PCI (Plasmacluster Ion) product line. Her love of Japanese culture and fashion, together with her childhood use of SHARP items, make her the perfect spokesperson.

To sum up, the "Japanese Living To Your Home" event demonstrated how SHARP combines cutting-edge technology and Japanese living philosophy to significantly raise living standards in Malaysia. It also reaffirmed SHARP's position as a leader in quality of life enhancements.
