Panasonic Malaysia Launched "Panasonic Rakan Bersih Ceria" to Raise Awareness on Toilet Hygiene Standards

Two days ago, I was at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sentul 2 in Kuala Lumpur for the launch of "Panasonic Rakan Bersih Ceria" campaign. Panasonic Malaysia aims to raise awareness and educate on good toilet hygiene standards and habits amongst primary school children in Malaysia.

This is part of Panasonic’s efforts to address on-going concerns with school toilet cleanliness, as well as to improve lives and holistic well-being, in line with its corporate vision and tagline “Create Today. Enrich Tomorrow.” to set the stage for a cleaner and healthier future for all Malaysians.

The launch ceremony was officiated by Mr. Keisuke Nishida, Managing Director of Panasonic Malaysia at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sentul 2, Kuala Lumpur.

In an effort to enhance hygiene and cleanliness in school restrooms, this campaign goes above and beyond standard procedures by installing manual bidet seats. More significantly, this campaign supports the government's initiative to maintain and improve school facilities in order to give instructors and kids a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.

“We are very excited to launch this campaign with the Ministry of Education’s support to foster healthier and more hygienic habits among school children. Panasonic’s identity is rooted in Japanese culture. One of them is an emphasis on practicing cleanliness, which promotes better hygiene, reduces the spread of illnesses as well as improves overall health and well-being. More essentially, by instilling good hygiene standards early on, we empower children to take responsibility for their own hygiene and contribute towards maintaining a cleaner and healthier space for themselves and others,” said Keisuke Nishida, Managing Director of Panasonic Malaysia.

Panasonic Rakan Bersih Ceria campaign aims to raise awareness and educate on good toilet hygiene habits amongst primary school children in Malay

The campaign involved 25 participating primary schools across the Klang Valley. Panasonic conducted informative and engaging workshops educating students on the value of hygiene education and excellent lavatory practices. excellent hygiene standards are the cornerstone of toilet cleanliness and a healthier and more hygienic environment for everyone. In order to guarantee that students are well-prepared for life beyond the textbook and to naturally encourage them to embrace a sanitary lifestyle, the workshops are also developed with engaging activities.

Panasonic also distributed educational materials, including posters emphasizing clean, comfortable, and eco-friendly bathroom practices, with a specific focus on bidet usage.

The bidet installed under the initiative is the Panasonic Bidet AR15 Concept, which offers a hassle-free water washing experience, further enhanced by the Ag+ anti-bacterial function on the seats that kills up to 99%* of bacteria on the surface of the seat. Thus, contributing to a more hygienic and comfortable toilet environment.

I personally find that this is a great effort and it will definitely educate the young students to learn to use seated bidet from primary school. To find out more info about the bidets used in the initiative, please visit DL-AR15D Bidet – Panasonic Malaysia and DL-AR15R Bidet – Panasonic Malaysia.
