Paramount Property’s inaugural Paramount Cup 2025 delivered a spectacular showcase of world-class pickleball, drawing more than 700 players and hundreds of fans over four-action packed days at PLAYA Racquet Club @ PARC Subang. Spanning 17 competition categories across singles to gendered doubles and mixed doubles, the Paramount Cup presented an electrifying display of athleticism, skill and sportsmanship, presenting a record RM112,500 prize pool.

The event marked a major milestone in Malaysia’s sporting calendar and celebrated the grand opening of the country’s first purpose-built pickleball hub where world-class facilities met beach-club vibes, PLAYA Racquet Club @ PARC Subang, the second facility by PLAYA Racquet Club. More than a tournament, the Paramount Cup 2025 became a festival of sport, community and connection, embodying pickleball’s inclusive and high-energy spirit.

The championship featured an all-star international line-up — Vanshik Kapadia (India), Kyle Stoker (Australia), Nancy Riley (Australia), and Josh Chia (Australia), Roman Estareja (United States) and Jas Almaguer (United States), Hsieh Yu-Chieh (Taiwan, Asia’s No.6 female), Tarie Caouette (Thailand’s No.1) and Mihae Kwon (Korea’s top-ranked female player) — alongside Malaysia’s rapidly rising stars who proved they could hold their own against the region’s best.
In the Open 19+ Men’s Singles, India’s Tejas Mahajan claimed the title after a thrilling final, while Malaysia’s Syabil Shaharudin and Kuldip Ravindra (India) secured first runner-up and third place respectively— a powerful statement of Malaysia’s growing dominance on home turf.

The Open 19+ Men’s Doubles saw Vanshik Kapadia (India) and Tejas Mahajan (India) take the gold, with the local duo Khoo Er Yang (Malaysia) and Syabil Shaharudin (Malaysia) finishing as first runner-up after a fiercely contested final that showcased homegrown power and precision.
In the Open 19+ Women’s Doubles, Taiwan’s Hsieh Yu-Chieh and Chang Maggie captured the crown, while Malaysia’s own Delia Arnold, national squash icon turned pickleballer, and Sieu Ee Toi impressed fans with a commanding performance to secure third place, signalling that Malaysian women are fast emerging as regional contenders.

The tournament's inclusive spirit extended to the 45+ categories, where experience met precision on court. In the Open 45+ Men's Doubles, Indonesia's Edy Kurniawan and Gusti Ngurah Putra Haribawa claimed the title, with Malaysia's Keevan Raj and Azizul Azhar Bin Ahmad finishing as first runner-up, and Malaysia’s Lim Ben Tah and Yap Cheng Xing securing third place.
The Open 45+ Mixed Doubles saw Gusti Ngurah Putra Haribawa (Indonesia) and Pini Lee (Singapore) deliver a commanding performance to capture gold, while Danny Tan (Malaysia) and Connie Chan (Malaysia) fought hard for first runner-up, and Jason Wong Sai Kong (Malaysia) and Maggie Ng (Malaysia) claimed third place, reinforcing the Paramount Cup's vision of uniting players across generations through the fastest-growing sport in the region.

The tournament reached its dramatic peak with the Open 19+ Mixed Doubles, where Hsieh Yu-Chieh (Taiwan) and Vanshik Kapadia (India) delivered a thrilling masterclass to lift the title. Nancy Riley (Australia) and Chen Ah Hsieh (Taiwan) finished second, while the dynamic pairing of Malaysia’s Colin Wong and the United States’ Jas Almaguer fought fiercely to claim third place, with the duo’s success celebrating both international collaboration and Malaysian pride on home soil.
