Last Saturday, I joined the Pos Malaysia Run 2025 which took place at the iconic Stadium Merdeka in KL. I signed up for the 10km run and the best thing is that all our race kits are delivered to our address. That's really convenient to everyone especially those traveling from out of Klang Valley area!

Held at the historic venue where Malaysia's independence was declared in 1957, this year's run provided the perfect backdrop for celebrating unity, heritage and progress while championing healthy living. Building on the success of the inaugural 2024 edition which attracted 3,500 participants, the second annual event featured an exciting new addition – the 10km Corporate Relay Run (5km x 2pax) – alongside a Special Category for Persons with Disabilities (OKU), further demonstrating Pos Malaysia’s commitment to inclusivity.

Just as we connect the nation through our unparalleled logistics infrastructure, this run is about connecting people and delivering a better tomorrow. We brought together runners of all ages and fitness levels at Stadium Merdeka, the very place where Malaysia's independence was declared. The significance of this venue reminds us that progress — whether in 1957 or 2025 — is always a collective journey."

Sustainability at the Forefront
Staying true to its environmental commitment, the Pos Malaysia Run 2025 maintained its position as a leader in sustainable event practices. All finishers received commemorative finisher medals thoughtfully crafted from recycled materials by NatureLoop—each medal repurposing approximately six zip ties from Pos Malaysia's operational waste, giving new life to materials that would otherwise be discarded. Race packs were delivered directly to participants' homes using Pos Malaysia's electric vans and bikes, eliminating the need for race pack collection and minimising carbon footprint.

Reusable cups by OPACK were used throughout the event, further reducing environmental impact and setting a benchmark for green sporting events in Malaysia.
