The RTE expansion marks a natural progression of MFM’s vertically integrated ecosystem, extending from its state-of-the-art primary processing plant of Dindings Poultry Processing Sdn Bhd in Manjung, Perak into complete food solutions. The range currently features four protein-rich, microwaveable meals designed for modern, time-constrained consumers. It includes authentic charcoal-grilled satay, Malay-inspired Ayam Masak Merah and Ayam Kicap, as well as Chinese-inspired Ayam Kam Heong. These offerings prioritise convenience, food safety, nutritional accessibility, and halal compliance, supporting more consistent access to safe and reliable nutrition in today’s evolving food landscape.

Designed for both domestic and international markets, the RTE portfolio aligns with clean-label trends and global regulatory standards. This supports Malaysia’s broader ambition to strengthen its position as a global hub for high-quality halal food production. As part of its go-to-market strategy, MFM plans to roll out a reality-based cooking show – Rasa Warrior Showdown and digital content series to showcase product versatility across everyday and premium culinary applications.

In 1966, MFM began with Malaysia’s first modern flour mill in Lumut, Perak and has since played a key role in the nation’s food industry development. Its consistent quality standards and technical expertise have contributed to Malaysia’s transition from reliance on imported flour to self-sufficiency in wheat flour production.

Today, MFM operates across a fully integrated value chain spanning flour milling, poultry integration, and aquaculture. Regionally, its operations extend to Vietnam and Indonesia, with a combined daily wheat milling capacity of approximately 10,000 metric tonnes and annual flour production exceeding 700,000 metric tonnes in Vietnam alone.

In its poultry integration segment, MFM leverages Industry 4.0 technologies, including climate-control and precision farming systems, to enhance efficiency while maintaining high animal welfare standards. Through its joint venture with Tyson Foods, Inc. via Dindings Tyson Sdn Bhd, the Group incorporates global best practices into its operations, enabling a daily production capacity of up to 400,000 birds to support national demand for reliable protein sources, while also strengthening supply chain resilience through more stable feed sourcing amid volatile market conditions. This is further supported by the Group’s access to feed grains through Premier Grain Sdn Bhd, a joint venture with Toyota Tsusho Corporation Group, which through its extensive global sourcing network ensures the consistent and reliable supply of high-quality feed ingredients.

MFM attributes its long-term growth to a strong people-centric culture rooted in continuous learning and mentorship. From its early years of on-the-job training to its current workforce development initiatives, MFM has cultivated a collaborative environment that has earned multiple recognitions for workplace excellence.

Looking ahead, MFM aims to deepen investments in innovation, talent and strategic partnerships as it continues to evolve alongside changing consumer needs and industry dynamics.
