Malaysia’s First Steers Drive-Thru and Debonairs Pizza Opens at PETRONAS Station Mutiara Damansara

Mesra Retail & Cafe Sdn Bhd (MESRA), the retail arm of PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB), and the Malaysian operator of Steers and Debonairs Pizza today announced the opening of its first Steers drive-thru and a Debonairs Pizza outlet at PETRONAS Station Mutiara Damansara.

The two restaurants bring distinctive South African flavours to the neighbourhood while broadening customers’ food and beverage choices at the station. PETRONAS Station Mutiara Damansara marks the second Malaysian location for both brands, following their first in Bangi in December 2025.

New outlets offer flame-grilled favourites, generously topped pizzas and greater dining convenience

Steers Mutiara Damansara Drive-Thru serves freshly prepared flame-grilled burgers and chicken for dine-in, takeaway and drive-thru, while Debonairs Pizza offers generously topped pizzas for dine-in and takeaway.

Guided by its promise of “Real Food, Made Real Good”, Steers puts flame-grilling at the heart of its menu. Its burgers feature 100% beef patties and freshly baked buns, complemented by signature BBQ sauce and seasoned chips.

Burgers and chicken are freshly prepared to order, delivering the smoky flavour for which the brand is known and offering hearty choices for lunch, dinner or a meal on the go. The drive-thru format gives customers the option to order and collect their meals without leaving their vehicles, adding convenience for commuters, families and customers on the move.

Debonairs Pizza: Generous toppings and meals made for sharing

Debonairs Pizza brings its promise to "Make the Ordinary Extraordinary" to life through freshly prepared dough, signature sauces and generously topped pizzas designed for sharing.

Its menu caters to family meals, gatherings with friends and casual dinners, with customers able to dine in or take their pizza home to share. Both restaurants use halal ingredients.

Two restaurants, more choice at an everyday stop

The openings support PDB’s ambition to strengthen its non-fuel retail offering through MESRA by making PETRONAS stations more convenient destinations for F&B, retail and everyday needs.

MESRA holds the exclusive master licence for Steers and Debonairs Pizza from Famous Brands, the South African restaurant franchisor. The Mutiara Damansara restaurants build on the brands’ first Malaysian location in Bangi, with further expansion planned across the Klang Valley.
