Have you heard about Worthy Book™ before? Well, it's actually a voucher booklet that offers freebies, discounts & deals at some of Klang Valley’s most popular spots! Now, they have came up with the Worthy Book™ F&B Special Edition 2012-2013 which covers 30 major shopping malls and features more than 55 eateries. Thanks to the marketing department of Worthy Book™, I was given an opportunity to review the book.
Priced at RM29.90, the Worthy Book™ is available at all major bookstores such as MPH, Popular, Borders, Times, Kinokuniya and selected myNEWS.com outlets in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. So basically, if you don't work or stay in Klang Valley, this is not suitable for you at all. We shall wait until they release the nationwide edition in future perhaps?
By purchasing the book, you also will receive one 14-day pass to True Fitness, one 2-session pass to Bikram Original Hot Yoga and also a guideline on how to win 5x FREE extra vouchers of your choice from the book. So they are also considering the healthy side for the consumer instead of just eating all the food and getting plum!
Compared to the previous book, this time round they thought of categorizing all the F&B cuisine in one page as well as malls listing whereby the outlets are valid for the use of the vouchers. I've realized that the outlets which they covered were actually pretty common to the consumer such as Kim Gary, Shihlin Snacks, The Beer Factory, Ochado, Sushi Tei, Carl's Jr, Subway, Wendy's, Ninja Joe and many more. Apparently, I've did a few review on some of the outlet in my blog before, such as:-
Buddy Soy Smoothies in Berjaya Times Square.
D'Rich in Sunway Mentari.
Ochado in SS2 Petaling Jaya.
Sushi Tei at Setia City Mall.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and Coffee at Mid Valley.
Recently, I went to Sushi Tei at Tropicana City Mall after finding the FREE 1 salmon sashimi (RM10.80) with purchase above RM20.00.

The mentioned voucher.
I remember having this salmon sashimi at their outlet in Setia City Mall and it's still taste the same salmon juicy and fresh!
After our sushi dinner, we went to Share Tea for some drinks.
The voucher for Share Tea is Enjoy Buy 1 Free 1 Classic Pearl Milk Tea (RM5.90) with any purchase of large drink.
We ordered a large Vanilla Milk Tea, it was quite good actually. Not too milk for me and it somehow taste like chocolate milk to me (I'm not sure why). The Classic Pearl Milk Tea was okay but I would recommend the pearl milk tea from Ochado instead.
My Verdict:
Indeed this is a pretty good voucher book for those who are staying in Klang Valley can enjoy good food and drinks at the listed places with a discounted price or even simply to have some freebies. At least you can have more variety of choices and can be use up to 5 times. With the price tag of RM29.90, you can actually get back the value after a few rounds of using the Worthy Book™. Besides only can be used in Klang Valley, there's also one tiny weakness that is you need to keep track of the expiry of the voucher since not every voucher from different F&B outlet has the same expiry date. Some expire end of this year and some expire end of March next year.
