McDonald's Prosperity Gives Back on 19 & 20 January 2013

Last week, I went to one of the McDonald outlet in Mutiara Damansara which is situated next to Kidzania. I realized that there's actually three Mcdonald outlet in Mutiara Damansara but this is the largest one among all and the only one that comes with drive thru compared to the one at The Curve or e@curve. Anyway, this time round McDonald is organizing the Prosperity Gives Back – A Weekend of Sharing with McDonald’s where McDonald will be raising funds for local charity homes with the help of caring Malaysians.

“We want to enable caring Malaysians to spread and share prosperity with those in need while enjoying their favourite peppery treat because one of the key values of PROSPERITY is sharing. ‘Prosperity Gives Back’ gives us that opportunity to do so. It does not only spread joy amongst the disadvantaged that shall be receiving but it will also give a great satisfaction to those who will be giving,” she added.

“Thanks to a generous donation from McDonald’s Prosperity Gives Back program, we were able to settle a significant portion of our expenses including the deposit and rent for our premises, at a time when we were in a desperate need for funds. This timely contribution ensured that the folks under my care continued to have a place where they could call home,” said Norma Safa, caretaker of Nur Home for the Disabled.
