Last weekend, I was at McDonald's Kota Damansara for a small bloggers gathering to celebrate McCafe's 50th outlet milestone. McDonald's officially launched its 50th McCafe at McDonald's Bandar Puteri Puchong Drive Thru earlier this month and the McCafe outlet in Kota Damansara where we gathered, is their very first outlet in July 2012.
McCafe stands out to customers with its offering of a premium coffee experience at great value. Malaysians can now indulge their senses over a range of specialty coffees made using only premium 100% medium roast Arabica beans. The official celebration begins this weekend, 14 & 15 Dec 2013.
"The success of McCafe is the result being able to provide our customers with an enhanced coffee experience at great value without compromising on quality, freshness and convenience consistently. McCafe employs trained baristas to craft the signature McCafe beverages, which is greatly appreciated by our customers," said Stephen Chew, Managing Director of McDonald's Malaysia.
For non-coffee drinkers, McCafe also offers Dilmah Specialty teas such as Camomile, Earl Grey, Blackcurrant, Darjeeling, English Breakfast, Jasmine and refreshing fruit base cool sips.

Mr Vincent Chan said that there's no plan for McCafe to be a stand alone outlet at the moment but will still expand the amount of outlets in every McDonald's in Malaysia. Next year their target is more than 100 McCafe outlets in Malaysia. I wish them all the best! :)
