The Perfect Serve by Heineken World's Best Bartender 2016

In April this year, Eddy Jay Jaimin from The Beer Factory represented Malaysia at the Heineken Global Bartender Final 2016 in Amsterdam, and defeated 15 other countries to be crowned Heineken’s World’s Best Bartender. Prior to competing in the global arena, Eddy was amongst more than 1,200 bartenders and staff trained under the Star Academy (then known as GAB Professional Solutions) competing at a regional level where Eddy demonstrated consistency, accuracy and determination. He secured a place in the National Finals (Top 8) where he beat 7 of his contenders to be crowned the Hero of the Year.

Enjoy a perfectly served Heineken by Heineken’s World’s Best Bartender 2016, Eddy J of The Beer Factory on the house at selected weekdays and weekends, from 11th – 26th August 2016.

Following his recent victory, Eddy spoke about his experience and imparted some knowledge on the technique of pouring a perfect Heineken® and the importance of delivering a great drinking experience each time, at an intimate engagement hosted at The Beer Factory, Sunway Giza. 

Eddy explained, “To master the techniques of pouring the perfect Heineken®, you must first understand the brand, the fundamentals of beer, and the draught system. It has been an exciting journey with the Star Academy and I look forward to expanding my knowledge and to continue delivering the perfect serves of Heineken® to my customers.” He then brought them through a demonstration of the 5-Step Heineken® Pouring Ritual; rinse, pour, skim, check and serve.
