An Enjoyable and Self-Pampering Movie Night at Getha Lux Suites @ GSC Aurum Theatre

Last Thursday, I was invited to catch the latest Transformers: Rise of the Beasts movie at Aurum Theatre in The Gardens Mall. Growing up as a Transformers fan, I will never miss watching all the actions in the cinema. So this time around, I am expecting to be indulging into a superbly comfortable movie experience that one could ever asked for.

Upon arriving at the theatre, I was ushered to JIN Gastrobar for drinks and some light-bites before the movie. Whenever I get to visit Jin Gastrobar, it has always been a pleasant experience with nice atmosphere and warm hospitality.

Maintaining a healthy diet and finding the perfect company in life might help you feel balanced. Take the opportunity to catch up over a meal at the secluded JIN Gastrobar rather than postponing a meet-up or scheduled date. There are small snacks, delicious main dishes, and mouthwatering desserts available to satisfy your cravings. Additionally, JIN Gastrobar offers specialty mocktails and bar snacks that have been particularly curated and are inspired by popular movies. Even music calms the soul.

As part of the JIN After Dark initiative, which runs every Friday and Saturday from May to December, from 8PM onwards, unwind your senses with a lineup of local performers. Relax and refresh your mind before bed.

After drinks and a few light-bites, we were then introduced to the Getha Beauty Sleep Set, designed to create a conducive environment to rest and relax. So the movie time has finally arrived, we were ushered to the cinema hall and the very first impression I had was wow. It looks way more luxurious than I've seen on the pictures. I've been to their Comfort Cabins multiple times and I loved it but the Getha Lux Suite is definitely the cherry on top of the cake.

The Getha Lux Suite (priced at RM160 a ticket) is the most sumptuous accommodations available here for those seeking one of the best movie experiences in Malaysia. Expect two-motor luxury recliners with Getha's patented 100% pure natural latex foam padding, luxurious pillows, disposable slippers, nano-silver antimicrobial coverings, and all additional amenities stated for the Comfort Cabin above. Following each movie, all of the covers for the plush recliners and cushions are replaced with a fresh set, ensuring good hygiene. A side table with plenty of storage space and a USB socket for charging our electronics are also included in each suite.

We were served with coke with a glass and popcorn before the movie. Have I mentioned that there's disposable slippers too? Oh yes. Haha...

As for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, I rate it 3.5 out of 5 and it's my favourite Transformers movie up to date in terms of storyline and characters although action wise I prefer the forest fight in Revenge of the Fallen.

It's kind off a love hate experience (in a good way) for me because it gets too cosy thanks to the reclining bed seat and the soft getha blanket that I just have a hard time focusing on the movie. All in all, it's a certified one of the best self-pampering session for me. For those who have not been to Aurum Theatre at all, you should go try it out soon.
