Do you fancy watching musical theater?
Well, some of you might not know that I really enjoy watching musical theater and I was somehow involved in a local musical theater production back in KK which is called "Drunk before Dawn".
Anyway, do you guys still remember the previous Peter Pan the Musical which they did at the Sunway Lagoon Amphitheater last year's December? So if you are a musical theater person, get ready your wallet because this coming June, its time for another international renowned production rock the town – the RM2.0 million Magical Musicals, produced by the British West End veterans Chris Colby and David Kort.
Just like the previous musical, The Magical Musicals will be premiering on the 10th June until 17th July 2011 at the Amphitheater at Sunway Lagoon.
“Mesmerizing” is a popular word to describe the world’s favorite musicals of the past 25 years.
Magical Musicals is a medley of 30 musical numbers from world favourite musicals, tied together in an endearing story about young performers seeking recognition for their boundless talent.
The Magical Musical settings will start in Times Square, New York, where auditions are being held for a new show. They will bring famous numbers to life – such as Footloose, Baltimore, Dreamgirls, If I Can’t Have You, a medley of Glee and a special finale from Bohemian Rhapsody to Mamma Mia!
