Samsung GALAXY Note II

I was invited for the Samsung GALAXY Note II media launch at Zebra Square, KL last week. After the success of the predecessor Samsung GALAXY Note which was launch last year, now they are introducing an even better, faster and bigger but thinner device. This mobile device was announced not long ago and now it's finally up for grab in Malaysia.

From the exterior look of the mobile device, it is quite similar to Samsung GALAXY S III which was launch back in May and I've attended the media launch as well. Read about it here. So let's take a look at some of the new features, specifications and what's happening during the launch on the rest of my blog post.

The stage of the launch in Zebra Square.

The beautiful emcee of the evening, Miss Deborah Henry. I like her smile! :)

Mr. Kwon Jae Hoon, Managing Director of Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd
He said, "The GALAXY Note launched last year carved a new category of smart mobile devices, making it a milestone for Samsung. This year we are proud to introduce the GALAXY Note II, a device infused with capabilities to help people unleash their creativity at work or at leisure.

Luke Au, Product Manager of Mobile Division, Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd
At the launch, their product manager showed us some of the unbeatable viewing experience of the GALAXY Note 2 as well as the Advanced S Pen and S Note usage.

Vincent Choong, Head of Mobile Division, Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd
While Vincent talks about the breezy multitasking and also the powerful performance on the GALAXY Note II. I think the lack of built in Photoshop apps in the device and also the need to update the OS for multitasking features might be a hassle to the users.

After the product demo, there's a Samsung GALAXY Note II show whereby Miss Deborah Henry interviewed some of the celebrities regarding their experience and opinions with the new mobile device.

After the launch, we were ushered to the experience zone to hands on the device ourselves and also to test out some of the new features.

The Samsung GALAXY Note II may be a pretty nifty assistant when you're cooking in the kitchen.

After the crowd getting lesser, the Samsung girls showed their creativity in decorating the cupcake.

A picture of myself with the famous lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic. I'm sure most of you have seen his arts on the streets of Penang.
