Plan B @ Bangsar Village 1 (Food Review)

Plan B is no stranger to diners who love to eat and chill in major malls in Klang Valley and I just realised that they actually have one branch in Ipoh as well. Plan B is a creative space specifically designed to encourage people to eat, linger and to get inspired. Offering an edgy alternative to the cookie-cutter coffee bars, Plan B is a culture café that focuses on artisan coffee and creative cooking.

The style of food at Plan B is Aussie-meets-New York deli, with contemporary flavours, comprising of salads, sandwiches, pastas and a huge variety of cakes. The very first time I had a red velvet cake was from Plan B bought by a friend.

Tiger Radler #mydoublerefreshment Party this Dec 6 at KL Live!

Some of you might have seen the picture below that I have posted a week ago in my Instagram account (you can follow me if you haven't, link is here). I received a white plastic box from Tiger Beer Malaysia which is filled with a 330ml bottle of Tiger Beer along with some lemons. Beer mixed with natural lemon juice to produce a beverage that is doubly refreshing named, Tiger Radler.

"When it's Tiger giving you lemons... you get double refreshment!"
Just recently, I've received another box from Tiger Beer Malaysia and there's a warning saying there's gonna be some serious refreshment inside. So I guess that I am getting the Tiger Radler in the second package.

New in-flight Dining Experience with AirAsia & AirAsia X

Last Friday, I was at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur for the introduction of AirAsia & AirAsia X's new items in their airlines' menus. I do enjoy having their in-flight meal although during my flight with AirAsia, I try not to purchase their in-flight meal (preferred to go for lunch or dinner with family & friends upon arrival) but I just couldn't resist it and ended up buying their Pak Nasser's Nasi Lemak or Bukhara Chicken Briyani, which are favourite.

AirAsia have introduced Kamal's Mee Goreng Mamak for AirAsia's AK flights available both on board and for pre-booking. Alongside Kamal's Mee Goreng Mamak, AirAsia has also introduced 2 new items for Nov & Dec menu, the Spicy Tuna Wrap and the Christmas special of Roast Chicken with Cream Sauce. You can view their new menu online at the link here.

Gum Rock Bluetooth Portable Suction Speaker [Product Review]

Not long ago, I've received a highly versatile and portable speaker which feature a unique suction pad to prop up tablets and smartphones and connects to any Bluetooth device in order to stream music and calls wirelessly, it is called the Gum Rock speaker.

Other than Black, this speaker also come in Orange, Blue and Green.
Designed to allow you to navigate and control your music how you want, the Gum Rock Bluetooth speaker includes a simple button interface on the front of the speaker which allows you to skip forward and back tracks as well as control the volume of the music. This allows you to do this wirelessly, without having to be near the device which you are streaming the audio from. This speaker can connect to any of your Bluetooth devices such as your smartphone, tablet or even laptops. I have included a video at the end of this review where I have tested this speaker against the built in speaker in the MacBook Pro 13".

Xia Mian Guan @ Oasis Boulevard, Sunway Pyramid (Food Review)

Last month I was invited to a food review at Xia Mian Guan in Sunway Pyramid. This Shanghainese restaurant is located at the Oasis Boulevard and it may be a little tricky place to find. It's hidden in a narrow corridor tunneling outside the mall opposite of Celcom Blue Cube.

When I first heard about the name of the restaurant, I misunderstood it as a shop that sells prawn noodles but the word 'Xia' in Xia Mian Guan actually means the summer season and is famous for their Signature Shanghainese homemade noodles even in its art and decorations.
