Hey guys, it has been more than a year Samsung has released one of their quad core smartphone which is the Samsung GALAXY S3. My girlfriend currently using it and she quite satisfied with it although she would love to have the pink colour edition of Samsung GALAXY Note 2. Samsung Malaysia has just announced last week, via its Facebook page, a series of sneak previews of the upcoming Galaxy S4 for Malaysian consumers. Held over two days (19 & 20 April), these events happened at some of the most prominent locations in and around the Klang Valley, and is the strongest indication yet that the Galaxy S4 will be coming very, very soon.

Spotify in Malaysia

Spotify finally brought free, unlimited music streaming to Singapore, Hong Kong and now in Malaysia.
Many of you who have followed me in Twitter (@CleverMunkey) must have known that I had downloaded the Spotify apps in my iPad Mini for almost 2 days ago and I'm still on their trial as I am writing this blog post at this very moment. Here's a quick review from what I've experienced so far.

Spot my Spotify apps :P
After so many years of forcing Malaysians to go through a VPN just to access this service, Spotify is officially available in Malaysia. The leading music streaming service from Sweden now opens its 20 million track database to Malaysians for absolutely nothing. Spotify’s free service allows you to stream just about any song in the world for absolutely nothing, inserting an audio ad every few songs or so to keep things even. Just so your friends know what you’re listening to, Spotify plays very well with Twitter and Facebook as well as its own social network of sorts which they really did on my own social media platforms.

Photos from International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2013

Last week it was the 5th International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta held at Putrajaya. There was a lot of people who actually went there on weekdays to avoid the crowd but I only managed to go there on the Saturday morning. We woke up at about 6am and reached there around 7.15am but the people has already started filling up the place where the hot air balloon is taking off.

This was my second time coming to this event and both time were in the morning. Maybe next year I might be going in the evening but I heard the traffic was quite bad but I feel that it's good to witness the cold air deflate of the hot air balloon and also there's firework showcase at 9pm. Anyway, take a look at the photos I took at the fiesta. There won't be caption on it but for those who didn't get to go, I'm sure you will be really curious about it.

The Mexican Fiesta at InterContinental KL

It's the month of April and I know some of you might had pranked someone since yesterday was the April Fool day or might had been prank by your colleague, friends or family. Anyway, it's just for the sake of having fun and hopefully no one got harm. On the 18th of March, I was invited to InterContinental KL for the introduction to Mexico's world famous traditional cuisine. In collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico in Malaysia, Madam Lourdes Sosa Marquez, Deputy Head explained to us the history of Mexico's world famous traditional cuisine. Now, the UNESCO committee for the safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage has inscribed Mexican Cuisine on the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Hopefully one day our Malaysian cuisine will be listed as well.

Madam Lourdes Sosa Marquez, Deputy Head of Embassy of Mexico in Malaysia
Madam Lourdes explained to us how traditional Mexican cuisine is a comprehensive cultural model of farming, ritual practices, age-old skills, culinary techniques and customs just like our ''yee sang' in Malaysia which is a culture for the Chinese to have during Chinese New Year festival. It is very important to understand the basis of the system, which is founded on corn, beans, chili and other native ingredients such as varieties of tomatoes, squashes, avocados, cocoa and vanilla.
