Haikara Style Cafe & Bakery @ Subang Jaya

Today is the second day of Hari Raya and I am spending my time at a very peaceful town somewhere in Perak. Back in April, a few blogger friends and myself went to this very unique cafe at Subang Jaya. It was actually recommended by Jolyn and from the research that I did, it says that the Haikara Style has committed themselves to offer safe and quality food at a reasonable price from customers’ viewpoint while incorporating some Japanese style. They offered a variety of food from Western cuisine to Japanese cuisine, as well as pastries, cakes and buns.

My Visit to Kek Lok Si, Buddhist Temple in Penang

Today is the first day of Hari Raya and I am posting this up right before my short getaway up north for some food hunting and exploration. For those who are still stuck in your workplace or not going back to your hometown with your family. I hope you guys can take be patient and calm because that's life. As I'm going for a trip, I need to bring along my work with me just in case if there's any changes that I need to do. Look at the bright side, that's the path that you are meant for and no one is forcing you (unless it's from your family members... BUT REMEMBER, always love your family and your neighbour! Teehee~).

Back to the topic posted above, I was brought to see one of the great landmark in Malaysia which is the Kek Lok Si, Buddhist Temple in George Town, Penang. Before I continue, I would like to thank Isaac Tan for his great hospitality and being a very good tour guide through out my short trip to Penang. He suggested that we should try the famous Laksa at the Pasar Air Itam which is located in the other corner of the road near the temple. It was drizzling at that time but thank God that we managed to get a table and had our late breakfast there.

In a few days time, all of us will be celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri and our National Day. I'm sure most of you would already have plans for the long break and some even has gone back to their hometown or having vacation somewhere. Whatever it is, I would like to wish you all happy holiday in advance.

In this entry, I would like to introduce a very famous makan place in SS2. It is called Wai Sek Kai (Selera Makan) or also know as Gluttony Street. Pasembur (Rojak India) at Taman Bahagia

Good day!

Do you know what is Pasembur? Let me briefly tell you what it is in case you guys too lazy to Google it. Pasembur is a Malaysian Indian salad consisting of cucumber (shredded), potatoes, beancurd, turnip, bean sprouts, prawn fritters, spicy fried crab, fried octopus or other seafoods and served with a sweet and spicy nut sauce.

The term Pasembur is peculiar to Northern Peninsular Malaysia. It is especially associated with Penang where Pasembur can be had along Gurney Drive In other parts of Malaysia, the term Rojak Mamak is commonly used.

In this entry, I would like to introduce one particular Pasembur stall which is located just opposite the Taman Bahagia LRT station.

My Experience @ E-Commerce Fair 2011

Shalom! Shalom!

Did you know what has happened last weekend at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre?
The First and the largest E-Commerce Fair 2011 in Malaysia was held on the three following days from the 12, 13 & 14 August (Friday-Sunday), 2011 11.00am - 9.00pm. There was an opening ceremony for this very event at 11am and it was attended by the VIPs.

I went there on the Friday itself and I was very excited to go for the SuperBID but sadly I can't make it for the 6.00pm session. A lot of people went home with really good deals such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab for only RM800+ and also the Olympus EP-3 for only RM2200! What a steal! Anyway, let's take a look what are the things that had happened through out the first day itself.
