Five More Days till Christmas...

A few days ago, I found out that my phone have one missed call from an unknown number. The time shows that the missed call was received when I was asleep during midnight. I didn't bother to call back because if the call was important, that person might call me back plus I was rushing to work in the morning. Then it was before my lunch break I received that call again. A girl's voice was on the phone and I believe that she's not local assuming the English accent that she's speaking. So I was kind enough to answered politely although I was busy working. I hardly understand what she was saying on the phone and I wasn't able to catch her name though she had tell me her name twice, it was a pretty long name and it sounded like a name from the middle east or something.

Cut to the point, she was actually one of the contestants from Miss KBU which I went for a few months back. I shall not reveal her name here. She asked me whether I am the owner of this blog who posted her photos in one of my blog entry and I said yes. She then requested me to delete all her photos due to reasons that her parents back at her hometown don't really like it and blah blah blah... It was actually hilarious at that moment so I asked her why did she even bother to join the contest. She said it was her mistake for doing so. I might sound a little grumpy at that time because I did not have any intentions to delete any photos from my blog entry but I did it right after I hung up the phone. That was during my working hour and I was busy. Take note that I dislike people to call me when it is not urgent or not related to my work at all.

The story doesn't ends there. I was working till late at night and I didn't even get to have my dinner. So I went to the mamak place near my residential area for a quick dinner before going home. As I was munching on my fried instant noodle delightfully, the same number called me again. This time a man's voice was on the phone instead of the girl who called me earlier. I believe the man was her friend and he was asking me why I have not deleted the photos as I have promised. My mouth was still chewing on my dinner and swallowed all the unfinished chewed food inside my mouth. He was kinda rude and was trying to challenge me saying that he was looking at the photos in my blog using his laptop. I said what? He did clarified that the photos are still up so I told him that I would call him back since neither my iPhone or laptop was with me at that particular moment. So I quickly rush back home after my dinner just to make sure that the photos have already been deleted or not. So yeah, It was already deleted from the blog post... yes, two blog post! Not just one ok? I didn't call back, it will be a waste of money arguing it. If this really matters to them, they will be the one who call me.

Anyway, my conclusion is... Why on earth people like her even wanted to participate in the contest at first? Can you even restrict all the photographers during that contest from taking photos of you? If that's a mistake, then has been a really stupid mistake. Next time, ask your parents for permission before joining any pageant or beauty contest and to avoid yourself pulling anything silly mistakes out of yourself. This is for your own good!

You might have noticed that my blog post title is saying, "Five More Days till Christmas..." Well this year's Christmas actually has no meaning for me. Why? I am working on that day and there shall no be a replacement off day for me. Last week, I have gone through my work schedule for this week and it's a very busy week for me. Who said that end of the year there will be lesser jobs and projects. That is not true in my work line. As an assistant, I have no choice but to assist my boss no matter when or what. I can't request not to work on Saturday & Sunday. It's not an option for me either to work or not to work overtime. It's fixed. It's a responsibility. There's thing I need to learn and improve more. I know what I earn now might not giving me a wealthy life in a short period. My boss was just trying to calm his employee by saying that statement. Maybe not now, maybe in future. As long as I still love what I am doing, I don't mind.

I just feel like this life is so unfair. There are many people who doesn't appreciate their life, wealthiness and even when they got a degree thanks to their supportive parents. They just don't care about the feelings of their family and friends. Ending their short life by committing suicide. Don't they even realize there are thousand of people who suffered from disease and praying so hard that the God that they believed in will spare them a life or even just a few hours to spend it with their love ones. For me who is born and raised by lowly educational and poor parents, I have to tackle all the hardship to be who I am right now, still I am contributing back to my parents which is the best thing to do although it was really difficult at first. All that is done by stopping myself from buying new gadgets, camera and even clothes. I can only envy what other people are having. At the end of the day, that is how love should be, by putting other people first before yourself. Overall, this year has been pretty tough for me. Hopefully next year will be a better year and I will be looking forward for new challenges! Twelve more days to go...

Till then, have a blessed Christmas.

.: Peace Out :.

PIKOM Digital Lifestyle Expo 2010

I always felt that I wanted to get so many things, I am not a materialistic person but somehow there are demands of things that has been revolving in my head over and over again. The whole year of 2010 has not been really good to me and I really didn't wanna wrap the year without a smile on my face so I decided to get something from the PIKOM Digital Lifestyle Expo 2010.

Oh and by the way, I only buy things that I need. Rarely getting something which i don't need.
Girls are different, yes they buy cheap things but to think about it... As an example, how many times in a month will they wear the same shirt or pants? I only got 2 pair of jeans which rotates from me to utilize it. Even if the pants cost like RM200 a pair (I really meant 'if') but it's still worth it.

So what did I manage to get?

Sensonic USB Compact Slim Keyboard U20 (RM45)
It is silent, sensitive, responsive typing feel... it's for my malfunction MacBook keyboard.
The one u seen at my blog header. Sigh... T.T

Tiny Tech MP3 FM Modulator w/ remote control (RM18)
Finally I can stick my thumb drive in it and have a good entertainment inside my car besides the crappy radio transmission.

A4 Tech x4 High Speed 4000 FPS Optical Mouse (RM10)
I paid 10 bucks but it performs better than its cost!

What I didn't get?
A GPS, Garmin or Papago? Still thinking.
A new MacBook Pro or iMac... waiting for a bag of money to fall from the sky >..<

For men-readers, it is time for you to wash your eyes.

Jayren's Birthday Celebration at Wong Kok Char Chan Teng, SS2 PJ

Last Saturday after work I rushed off to attend Jayren's birthday celebration at Wong Kok Char Chan Teng, SS2 Petaling Jaya. Again, as expected, the restaurant has a very poor service and the food is... SUCK BIG TIME! I still prefer Kim Gary than this. Anyway, it had come to my realization that everyone who attended are bloggers! So below are the people who attended!

Top left to right: Edwin, Shannon, Liki, Jolyn.
Bottom left to right: Adrian, Jayren the b'day boy, Hitomi, Calvin and Xiao Tong.

Everyone is in the photo minus myself and the latest person to arrive, Jiayeen... better late than never right? :)

Ocean Potion® for me!

Hi all!

If you have followed or keep track of my blog since early last year, I am sure most of you might know during that period I was trying out my career in Singapore. No doubt, Singapore was really a 'fine' city to me and the people there are seriously workaholics and lots of the working people there suffered from the work stress. As for me, living and working in Singapore has been a very good time for me to experience a different lifestyle and culture there. As a result, my skin was really tanned (I got sunburn) as you can see in the picture below.

No need to ask, I am the one on the left side la...

KLIMS'10 Show Girls (Part 3)

Hi all!

How was your Awal Muharram break everyone? I think most of you must been out with family and friends. Some of you might just stayed at home and watch TV which was actually a better idea rather than having a hard time finding parking at the main shopping malls in the city. I spent more than 30 minutes just to find a parking spot (which is not really a parking spot, it's just a space right after the ram to the 5th level in New Wing.

Once again I would like to say thank you for the viewers who have commented in my previous post which is the Cherry show girls. I received more negative comments than the negative ones. To be frank, they really look quite pretty in real person but I guessed the external flash might have show the different color tones of their make up on their face with their body skin tone. Plus, my hand was too itchy that time and I was playing around with the HDR mode. So my apology if the previous set turns out to be bad and hopefully you guys will prefer this set.

Below are a few images of Nissan girls taken at the KLIMS'10.

My Classic Car's Passion [Part 1]

Volkswagen Beetle 1300

Taken at 1Borneo, KK, Sabah a few years ago.
The design of the body itself still a hit until now by just looking at the current VW New Bettle.
No drastic changes on the body design was made besides the headlamp, rear-lamp, interior & more powerful engine available.

I missed the sound of this car's tire screeching & the way they showed off it's U-turn drift at Lintas. This baby is still a powerful beast with a 1.3cc heart.

Halloween Party 2010 at Euphoria, MOS

Hi guys!

It has been a week plus since the last Halloween. I realized that most of the festivals or event were celebrated through clubbing. As it's quite through that most youngsters these days have forgotten the importance of gathering with own family and it is also mentioned in one of Kenwooi's blog post here. For me, Halloween is not a big deal to celebrate with family and it's not even a religious celebration.

Well this time, Tony is officially a graduate in Bachelor Degree in Business Management on the 23rd October 2010.

The graduation hall. Nice and simple.
Plenty of official photographer around but too bad no official videographer & live video broadcast.

CarSifu - Malaysia Car Website Review

Hi all!

Have you ever dream about buying a sport car or a luxury car? I am sure most of you who are reading this dreamed about not only driving it but also to own it right? Many of us now have been turning to online shopping, not only it can saves ur time but also will avoid the hassle of being caught up in the jam especially during the peak hours.

I've found a very useful Malaysian car classifieds website which is called the CarSifu. Basically, it is the Malaysia's leading Car Classifieds website, with over 1,000 cars for sale posted online all across Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, and Johor.  I've found out there's so many choices of car such as the Audi, BMW, Honda, Hyundai, Mercedes or even Perodua and Proton cars!

It's always so cool to use the photo of the Mini Cooper as the main-page of a website.

If you are finding an used or new cars, you can actually type the brand or model of the car in the 'SEARCH CARS' function. If you have the desire to sell your old car by only registering yourself on the website which only takes a few clicks and few minutes to do so. I really like the SLK Merc models listed on this website. The price listed are quite competitive but too bad I already own a 'SLK'! >..<

As for now, most of the cars on the website are located at Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, and Johor. So hopefully in future, they will be more cars from Sabah & Sarawak on this website.

My dream car is BMW M3 and the Audi TT.
What's yours? Let me know in the comment section.

Apple Macbook Air

Hi there!

Recently, Steve Jobs from Apple Inc. have announced the latest Macbook Air and iLife'11.
In this post, I will not touch on the iLife'11 since myself rarely use the iLife'09 other than iMovie and iTune itself. I don't really like the latest iTune but I don't mind upgrading my iMovie to the latest version since it is a very user friendly software for video editing.

Okay back to the main topic of my entry, the Macbook Air. 2 years ago it impressed me with its design but not practicality. So what about the latest version?
Let's take a look at the specifications below.

Proton Inspira, the 'EVIL' brother of Mitsubishi Lancer GT 2.0

Hi all!

I rarely post about cars but this time Proton once again attracted me to say something after the releasing of the new Proton Saga about 2 years ago. The Proton Saga was a success and managed to compete well with Perodua Myvi and Perodua Viva. So what about this new car?

Proton Waja replacement, the Proton Inspira.

Grand Opening En Route to Prom @ KBU [Final Part]

Hi all!

This was the 2nd day of the Grand Opening En Route to Prom at Kolej Bandar Utama. On the 1st day, 100 pieces of RM90 early bird tickets were totally sold out! Seems like Glorious 20th Anniversary Gala Night and Dinner will be really happening! As what we have seen on the 1st day of the grand opening, the main highlight was the contestants of Miss KBU 2010. The judges of the day were Ms. Elaine from FACES magazine, Ms. Curtney from School of Design and Ms. Anna from the Head of Student Service Department.

The contestants performed contemporary dance, Iranian traditional dance, cheer dance, salsa dance and an educational talk on the 'Art of Seduction'. One contestant did a martial art Taekwando performance. She made a performance on how to do self defence and at the same time break 6 pieces of hard wood with her powerful kicks! I guess that really stunned the crowd, i bet many people jaw's dropped when they saw a girl breaking wood planks with her feet!

Enjoy the photos!

Sa Sa Colors & Fragrance Fair & Awards 2010

Hi all!

Last week, I was invited by Victoria to attend a very prestigious Award Presentation Ceremony by Sa Sa. The ceremony was held at Main Concourse, LG1, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre on 1 October 2010 attended by various media representatives, trade partners and over 30 famous bloggers in town with one universal objective. That is to celebrate the awards presentation to the winners of the 6 fragrance categories voted by the Malaysian consumers which emerged after 38 days weeks of intensive promotional campaign.

Photo taken with iPhone 2G (still rocking yeah!)
